Iwo Jima, Midway, Gaudalcanal, Phillipines etc. The Americans drove Japan all the way back to their homeland. The Japanese lied to their own people and told them they were winning, which was not the case at all. They Japanese Civilians starved to death and comitted suicide en mass because of their retarded "Refusal to surrender". Japan was beaten into the ground already and the US told the straight up, surrender or we will destroy you. they got destroyed.

@IIXShogunXII its not like that the Japanese killed themselves as an honour to their country actually, and if you watch Letters from Iwo Jima you will see that the Japanese didn't want to fight but it was an honour. Yes they lied for morale and how do you know that the Americans aren't doing it too. I'm not saying it just giving an example.
