Super Smash Bros Brawl is the best intro. The one thing I suggest for Super Smash Bros Brawl intro is the announcer yelling Super Smash Brothers. BRAWL!

@raneilangelo You probably already found the answer but you can play the super smash bros original on project 64, you could probably play melee with dolphin (or is it dolwin), anyway for melee you need a really fast computer. Careful though its considered illegal.

super smash brothers: the opening to a whole new video game era none will forget.

Super smash brothers melee: a great sequal with new characters and inhanced quality made 2 years later.

Super smash brothers bralw: argubaly the best one, but made a whopping 7 years later!! introduced new characters as well, including sonic and snake, which probaly made the game more interesting. still have problems such as the absence of the beginning "Suuuuppppeeerr smaaaash brothers!!!

I think the Melee one is so much more "magical" for us is because the game basically..delivered, gameplay, graphics, sound, the works. As for the intro, it's the music and choreography of it all. Was so cool seeing Mario go from trophy to hardcore 2001(?) 3D. As for Brawl..at this point I think Nintendo is pretty much just riding on it's coattails and knew previous fans would like pretty much any decent quality smash bros intro, just as long as Brawl came.

Why are the N64 and Melee intros stretched out instead of 4:3?

Also, I just noticed that the VC version of the original SSB has an emulation error. When Master Hand snaps his finger at the beginning, there should be a starburst effect. In this video, you can see it in the Japanese version but not in the English version.

I think Melee has the best Music and Opening. In SSB, the charakters there just wasn't theirself..look at Link oO

Melee is perfect - the music isn't too much and not 8-Bit sound (so it sounds from SSB) and Brawl is way too much.

Brawl's intro doesn't hold a candle to that of melee's. Melee's intro actually brings a tear to my eye, and shows a bit of each character's background, not just a bunch of cutscenes from a story with no vocals Don't get me wrong, I love ssbb, but the sse, in my oppinion, looked much better on paper than it did on the wii. Back to the intros, Melee's > Brawl = Original.

@hammerbro99. I don't think the Brawl one was even an intro. They just ripped the cut scenes from the Subspace Emissary and game play videos and put them all in one. In Melee and N64, it was classic and creative.
