fake as hell. Takes 100 plus mph to keep an airplane off the ground, even when its landing. More speed to fly one if it didnt have but one wing if it was all possible to beging with. Plane goes from off ground ( in flight )to stop in 5 seconds. Notice camera shake and blur when plane hits ground. Great video trickery but obviously a fake.
@kippercat123 I agree with you, totally fake (landing physics are way off). However I completely disagree with you about needing 100mph to take off or land. Google "short takeoff" and watch some videos. They have entire competitions around this. Here's one such video: tinyurl[dot]com/3yrf4zp

This is a very talented pilot who gave it all the left rudder and stick he could ; with full throttle to stay above the ground with no other means of lift.
"Fake. At 48 seconds the plane drops drastically from maybe 10+ feet, it manages to land perfectly on all gear (three point landing) and manages to wash off airspeed without nosing over and grinding the prop into the ground.""
WOW you must be some kind of a genuis figuring out that this was fake.
so are a lot of other people btw.. I mean come on.. >.>''

No, although it looks plausible, using one aileron alone to roll the plane to level is not possible because the opposite lifting wing and countering aileron do not exist; therefore, at best...and I mean miraculously so...he would have crashed unto his fuselage. But it really would have been very catostrophic and uncontrollable!
Also note which way he initially spins and keeps spinning, if lift is gone from the right side, he should be spinning to the right not into the left wing that is still developing some lift. The plane would naturally fall towards the wingless side; basic aerodynamics.
Thanks for your help pink. I would ask in simple terms that there is no way a plane w/ one wing could land this easily LET ALONE on the runway he took off from, right???
Can someone help me and tell my roomate that this is NOT real??? Please help, I need a pilot or someone who can talk in the jargon other than just me saying "there is no damn way, Zig that shit is fake". Thanks.
I am a Pilot with over 6500 hours, and can tell you that the way the wing seperates from the plane is very suspect. First there is no loud bang and the wing flutters off the fuselage, it does not tear. You get this type of sepration on some RC Models with weak wingjoiners or alot of overstressing. But to be honest, I have never seen this type, whether live or RC,do this without alot of debris or some sound from the seperating airfoil.Other tell, notice color of wheel pants after landing, sunlit
It's pretty convincing right up until it begins to land . the it looks fake as hell.

Why would anyone create a fake video like this?
What's the point?
This is a very talented pilot who gave it all the left rudder and stick he could ; with full throttle to stay above the ground with no other means of lift.
His skill is self-evident.
Brilliant pilot.

No way! Without lift from the other wing and the opposing aileron, the whole episode would have been catastrophic!
