Another awesome song by Jimmy Webb. The only band member clearly visible is Andrew Gold on guitar. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the bass player is Bob Glaub. Linda sounds incredible, but then she came out of an era when you could either do or you couldn't. There wasn't very much technology to 'help' mediocre singers become superstars like there is nowadays. Linda is the real thing.

Unfortunately his handlers told him a rock star simply would not be an acceptable

It never worked out.

The ring was from her second big affair, which was with "George Lucas" of "Star Wars" fame. Don't know what happened. Could have been because they were both in entertainment. Something Linda vowed to never let happen.

I do too! A little more "Mature" than her earlier work. She was the best! It honestly makes me sad that life and the years go on and she is just about grinding to a halt in her career. She does less and less every year and is in her mid-60's now. She has had a great career and should be very very proud...
