Hey man, I love the bike. I want to have a chopper but it had to be built out of a HD. how did you get such a good full sound? Any certain mods for the bars? Thanks Ron. gracedrummer@hotmail.com
Say there man 'check out some of the old DENVERS CHOPPERS on the youtube and give SUGAR BEAR a look to man,i've been building bikes for 35yrs 'nice Jap bobber/chopper.(P.S.)are you messing with the idle or the fuel?sycronize the carbs with a vacuum gauge then the idle just say'in.
Oh how I love the sound of a four through straights.Nice to see another of Sochiro's kin still scaring the kids.Killer work brother, makes me jones for mine even more.
I do it as a hobby I have a garage set up as a shop. I have a bunch of old 750's and one XS650 Yamaha...I help a lot friends build bikes here and work on them too.
yeah man! nice job. i'm hooked on sohc hondas right now and have a bad hardon for one, no 2 chops should ever be identical but yours is just about how i want to make mine, only i want a front fender cuz i ride in the rain and a bigger gas tank for less refueling, your tank looks better than mine will though but function over form for me but shit yeah man sounds effin' awesome i'm jealous now go ride the piss out of it!
@wanderer1031 yo, i just watched the vid again, that thing is better than viagra! but what is that front end, it looks pretty wide, but can't see it good and what year is the motor? i'm just bikecurious...
Great job! I hope you had fun. I know I did. I can't wait for Bike Nights at the Gib. Although it is going ot snow this week.. It seems like summer is on its way.
I tried posting a link to my photobucket picture but I guess youtube won't allow that. I was in the back corner the the tank and fender are metallic red and the seat has a crow carved on it saying roadkill
Alright all you motor heads... I have a stupid question!
I am rebuilding a 1976 CB750 and I was wondering, if you have pipes like yours, is it like just stright pipes or is there something inside it for back pressure?
ive had straight pipes on every motorcycle ive had for 20years with no problem and a two stroke runs like crap if at all with a straight pipe a two stroke has to have an expansion champer on the pipe for back pressure for it to run .you can run a 4 stroke with 2to 3 foot straight pipes just as long as you dont let cold air hit the hot valves because they will warp and thats where the probles come in but a 4 stroke does not need back pressure
OK, let me re-phrase.....a four stroke will "run" with no back pressure, but you are sacrificing a good portion of the torque the engine has the ability to produce when you take it away. Take your bike to the track, tune it how you like for open headers and make a pass. Then put some back pressure on it with either baffles or a muffler re-tune the jets and run it again I bet you'll go faster!
my vids not showing that it posted so if ya get around to reading this check it out here on youtube at "chopper suzuki 1400" then scroll down to "my little chopper" give a look when ya get time ....Mike Chambers
DAMN that sounds awesome!!!!!I got an old 81 CB-750 sitting in my shed. Just waiting for the chopper treatment. I miss my 82 CB that thing was fast and fun...I almost died so many times on that bike.
I have owned Harley all my life and own a shop here in texas and I think this bike is really sick. I love it and for all of u who set there with your bought not built harleys Ill take this Honda over it any day. Nice job bro.
Titanium, I respect your views and what you do for a living. Not many can do that. Alot of the coolest bikes out there had their beginning as a newly bought Harley (or Honda, whatever.) A guy riding a brand new Harley ain't no better or worse than the guy who fab'd 75% of his bike (and bought the rest!) He might hire you to mod his bike later! Please lighten up on us schmucks who buy new bikes! Good luck, and Cheers!
is isnt about not liking harleys its about loving motorcycles. advertising sucker, bet you drink millerlite and went on the subway diet. hahaha hows that new kevin federline album.
Very nice, You should be more proud of your bike than someone who just buys one already done!
I have a 76' 750 Honda Chopper Bored out to 836 Suzuki tank Harley dyna pillow seat P&P Girders (Actual Amen brand pipes 4 into 2 turn outs) Over all my bike is just under 10 feet long I'd give you the link but you can't post links in the comments.
hey i was wondering if mabe you could tell me . Did you have to put radical cams ect. with the 836 kit ? or were the stock ones able to work?

It should be a great time. Ron Finch will be there.
