Neat finally knowing what the actual Dreams Come True song was that they used as the basis for this.

Does make me wonder how many other songs were modified versions of DCT's other work, or how many tracks from Sonic ended up as the base for later DCT's songs. (Kinda like some of Michael Jacksons' later songs were modified from the earlier Sonic 3 tracks.)

Dr. "Kintobor" was a scientist that came into contact with the Chaos Emerald and its power warped/twisted his mind (From memory I recall this)

In Japan the canon, is always been Dr. Eggman and always been Earth. With Sonic Adventure they decided to stop having two seperate names and canons, and only use the one. Hence, his true name is Dr. Robotnik (as evidenced by Gerald and Maria Robotnik), but he goes by the alias, Eggman.

Yashushi Yamaguchi had a early concept for Tails that had him as a girl. But it was scrapped before he even considered it. When he designed the fox character, he wanted the name Miles Prower assuring that the character would be male, SEGA though liked the nickname and decided to use it.

Actually I was thinking about the Rom Hack someone made where you kill the final boss, the explosion chases Sonic, Sonic goes through one of the loop-de-loops (it's the Chemical Plant tileset so those tiles are there) and the explosion FOLLOWS HIM through the loop. :D When I played that hack I thought that part was epic.
