  • Btw which ones don't work in BBCS:ex? Or do all of them still apply?

  • Thank you so much for the vid. It kept me company while I was in the hospital so I could practice Mu..

  • Wow, you REALLY don't know shit. LOL. You think I'm 31 years old, too? FUCK. You're an idiot. Stop responding and go learn proper english, retard.

  • @guiltyjo Still mad? God damn, stop being a asshole and get the fuck out.

  • @guiltyjo

I just read through the comments, you made yourself look like a fool.

    Stop being an Idiot.

  • Haha, funny. I am a garbage because I watched a video? I watch what I want on YT, retard. You know what is internet? Why are you here then, idiot? I know, is to annoy those who like BlazBlue? With your elitism piece of shit? The elitism of you retards, was the reason that you guys left out of the EVO. I agree about the problem of playing online, it happens to all fighting games. Also, 31 years old, you should be ashamed after typing so much shit here. Keep crying in the corners, "manchild". :-)

  • a new version coming out soon! Guess you're up shit creek without a paddle, son. Better luck next time. Wait until the Extend version comes out and practice then. You might be good enough to roll with the big boys, right? No? Yeah, probably not? You're hopeless. Go die in a fire, you fucking scrub.

  • @guiltyjo u mad bro

  • bless you ignorant scrubs with and take it with a grain of salt cuz chances are you aren't gonna be pulling much of this shit off, anyway. Then you'll probably give up and look for tutorials for other characters and you'll remain in a purgatory of scrubdom because instead of actually playing the fucking game, you're only watching videos and hoping that you'll magically gain some mystical power that will allow you to play like your gaming gods that you so worship. So go pra-- OH WAIT there's

  • scrub like you thinks let alone assumes I'm going to go cry on Arc System forums (why would I even cry there? You're fucking stupid) because oh BOO HOO MY FAVORITE GAME ISN'T ON A NEXT GEN CONSOLE. Good. I hope it doesn't come to next gen consoles. I hope it doesn't get online, either. I don't give a fuck. It's not my loss. I got people to play all I want. They're the best out here. It's no problem for me. So why don't you go practice your little Mu setups that pulsr so graciously decided to

  • obviously lacks. You little faggots can sit here on youtube, spouting memes from 4chan all you want but at the core, you'll never be as good as some of us REAL players-- the ones who keep playing because they want to better themselves and actually do so. The ones who've gained respect and have actually made a name for themselves in the community. The ones who read their frame data, know it well, and know YOUR frame data too. Yeah, those are the real players. I don't give a fuck about what some

  • up and play your little online matches which I'm sure you get fucking served at anyway. I'm sure if I picked this game up and started playing it, I'd mop the fucking floor up with you, you shit eating little prick. I don't give a fuck if GG is ever ported. There is no such thing as perfect online. Daisuke Ishiwatari said himself that as long as FRC's exist, GG would never be perfect online which is FINE BY ME. I prefer playing people face to face anyway, something your up and coming generation

  • @guiltyjo u mad bro

  • Actually, you're fucking stupid and you don't know shit so why don't you quit assuming things because you're looking like a fucking retard right now. I don't give a flying fuck if they don't make a Guilty Gear sequel, in fact, I fully EMBRACE AC, you dumb fucking scrub. You're obviously here because you don't know how to play with Mu which automatically makes you garbage if you're trying to learn from a tutorial rather than personal experience. So why don't you sit there and try to theory level

  • Eat a dick, bonker. When you play a real game, called Guilty Gear, let me know. :D

  • @guiltyjo Hahah, I have Guilty Gear's and you're mad because you want the Guilty Gear sequel (or PSN/XBL port). Why dont you go on the Arc System forums and cry there? :-)

  • BB is still ass. Yeah, I said it.

  • @guiltyjo Why so mad?

  • Most of these won't work in CS2 anymore, but most the 3C (CH) ->2B->5C->6C->6D->j.c->j.5B->j.5C->j.2C kinda works but now the Stein Gunner hits and they tech even if you do a 2D instead of a 6D. It seems most of what I know how to do right now are corner loops but I will see if I can help with midscreen setups. Have you found anything Pulsr?

  • Sorry to be such a noob here but, what does it mean when you say 5c, 6c, 2d and stuff like that? I know they are moves and the a, b, c, and d represent the button BUT what do the numbers represent??

  • @shadowofyukkuri On a standard keyboard, look at the numpad. 5 represents neutral, 6 is forward, 2 is down, etc. It's more practical to use "numpad directions" than trying to depict directions with other characters or fetching unicode arrows.

  • That would be nice to know what those 2c-3b-5jc,etc. mean ...

  • @Thaynima The number thing is refering to the number grid on most keyboards (there is an explanation on Dustloop.com) using a 3x3 grid for directions.2C->3B->5jC means down strong, then down-forward mid, then neutral jump strong. Does that make more sense? Took me awhile to get used to it.

  • @Thaynima Think of it as

    789

    456

    123

  • You really inspired me to be a better Mu player. I normally play against a good Bang player who as many others, said that Mu "sucked," well now Rachel and Mu are two of my best characters ( I still have several backups but mostly Rachel->Mu->Ragna->Hazama->Valkenhyn. You're combos were amazing and I can finally do most of them, that coupled with completing her challenge mode has made Mu devastating and made the Bang player eat his words. Thank you.

  • btw I was trying to do the vortex without writing down the notation and it turns out you can also do it after 6c, 5d, 92c. timing is very tight but it's kinda cool =P

  • Man screw this, mu is easy to play with...

make a videos tutorial for Rachel or Hazaman

those are hard Character to play with

  • Eldar theme tune? And a really helpful video about mu? Excellent!

  • CHIBI MU! SO CUUUUTE! :3

Nice choice of BGM, I like how the music goes all intense when you reach the "Now let me show you the most destructive setup I have!" spot.

  • wtf chibi mu!? D:

  • mu really looks complicated, especially when compared to noel... but just to make sure. is she? harder than even carl?

  • nice video man i am going to main mu as soon as the eu gets the 360 copy of the game youre video is really helpful and you have a nice way of presenting it

as a street fighter player i would call that a vortex yes lol

  • Yes, Miss Mu-12! XD

  • Comment removed

  • If you tech : you're screwed

If you dont tech : you're screwed

If you delay tech : you're screwed

So as long as you never get knocked down you should be just fine

  • Thx a bunch for this pulsr, i've seen plenty of your matches and have lately just started learning Mu-12. These setups have helped my game tremendously. Keep up the greatness XD!!!!

  • Eldar....

  • DAT

    ASS

  • jesus i didnt know that full charged move took 3 primers o-o. good to know. I've always just been like lol IB punish on that move but maybe its best to get out of the way lol

  • Love the Mu chib (very adorable). Learn some new setups from the vid. Thanks a bunch pulsr

  • my best characters in blaz are ragna, hazama, v-13/nu, mu-12

  • Ah lovely Astral speech

  • Oh and the song just adds to the epicness. HOT!!!

  • Man I can't think of anything cooler to say then what the multitude of posts have already stated. Pulsr, this is some great shit. Very creative. You make her seam broken. The presentation is really good.... Hell it even made me want to start playing Blazblue again... just a little. Much props bro. Nice stuff in such a short amount of time that this character has been available to us. Keep it up.

  • Wow, pretty informative. I'll see if I can pull some of this stuff and get more confidence with Mu, as I found her playstyle intruiging...

  • This is simply a very helpful video pulsr, thanks a lot man, my hats are off to you. But, you think I can suggest to see you in a few matches with Mu?

  • A question of irrelevance, where does the term "vortex" originate from and whate exactly does it mean?

    Great video btw!

  • awesome video and strategies!

  • Godlike. Seriously. mad props man, mad props. this'll help alot.

  • This is great, just great :) I have one question though - with the vortex setup, you list it as xxx 6C 2D, it looks like it's a 5D though? Is it just some cunning input? Or is either okay? Thanks again for the great vid. Really great presentation and delivery!

  • @Synata oof, that is my bad yeah its supposed to be 5D

  • wait a minute 8066 views and only 13 ratings O_O?

man this video should have 1000 ratings or higher this is some very very useful stuff for MU all this u shown in the video is great to know

thx a million for taking some of ur precious time out to show us all how to play with MU the correct way :)

  • vortex owns you nublords

oh nooooo black ppl say a thing we must put a stop to this - an anime fg player

  • thanks, this is very useful for people who wants to really use this character

  • Thank you so much for this, you have inspired me to give Mu another try, when I was convinced she didn't have enough options! Thanks!

  • info so godlike

  • if you dont mind ,what tier is she? a cant find anything

  • Wow, I knew they weren't wasting material when they made Mu. She looks like ver solid char and so far nothing broken has surfaced.

  • NICE UNDERSIDE-VORTEX TO DOUBLE MIXUP!

  • They really do need to stop calling it vortex though, they're gonna turn into smash players soon making up names for basic shit that's been around since fighting games began.

  • @KowtowRobinson ha! I see whatcha did thr... aha... aha.... i sorta resent that.

  • This video was wonderful. It's given me a better idea on how to play Mu. Thank you for the video.

  • Jesus Christ. Mu's got the Okizeme to rival S Tier characters.

Well, she just got bumped up to high tier.

  • mind... BLOWN... eek, freaking dee scary traps and set-ups. So, your saying you get ****ed when tech, AND ****ed when NOT teching.... WTF.

  • The fighting game community needs to produce more videos like this. A very informative and nicely presented introduction to some higher level play

  • awesome vid. if you put up a match on your channel, i'd definitely watch.

  • well done you convered a lot of things well.

  • Good job, Pulsr.

  • oh god I agree with the whole vortex thing. That is SF4 players only though, not actual SF players.

Taokaka's 2b slides under a teching opponent in CT like that, but I havent played CS yet :)

  • stfu nnlemon, who gives a flying what.

  • Agreed. "Vortex" is the worst term the community has latched onto since "Salty".

  • good shit.. :) now I might be able to do something with my mu..

you realise though that most of your audience are street fighter players (as well as bb) and you called them all a bunch of douche bags..

    unnecassary..

great video though.. same format for other characters would be great..

  • @nnlemon lol, i totally didn't call them douchebags. A lot of my friends are street fighter players and it was just funny that they got me using the term "vortex" because, to me, it just sounds silly.

  • @pulsr what would be the best non street fighter term then? because im stuck calling it that too :)

  • @nnlemon Yeah he definitely just called them silly. There is a certain relationship between Aksys and Capcom followers but I'm sure anyone remotely serious about fighting games realizes there's something to appreciate in any fighter. Anyone that has played BB, played SF first most likely.

  • sparkles and bubbles

  • the fuck is a blazblue.

  • ♥ :< ♥

  • 5c is standing circle for ps3 and standing b for xbox 360 i think. and by standing i mean neutral as in dont hold any directions

  • The fuck is a 5C.

  • @AwYeahGurl Neutral C attack. Since the game uses ABCD terminology for buttons.

  • it's like she's really talking to me

    fucking nerds

  • @Pulsr

Yo. I'm not sure if this helps much, but in a match, I usually try to throw out a weak laser and cancel into a strong laser. My reasoning behind this is because when you rush in, the weak laser will help assist your pressure and if you finally land a blow, you can let the strong laser hit during a combo.

  • In Guilty, it's called Okizeme. Why not just stick to that? : S

  • Thanks very much for the video. It' will add alot to my repertoire of Mu tricks (with mostly consist of 5D>6D>236D>6D2D oki). If you're still playing on XBL I hope to meat you soon.

  • it's too bad you found tsubaki disappoint, your dedication to gimmicks and set-ups like these would probably prove most interesting applied to other characters. although not many have pressure set-ups of similar nature in blazblue...not to my limited knowledge anyway

"cheese" like this is what makes fighters so exciting i guess...heh.

good video, this is the type of stuff that let's struggling players grasp key concepts to expand their old styles and characters. gives hope to the new blood.

  • Nice to see some creativity both in your use of Mu and the presentation of the video. Thanks for including the beginner information that leads into the more advanced stuff too.

I think ArcSys needs to have you develop some challenge mode setups for the next BlazBlue...

  • Good stuff sir! How convenient that I just picked up Mu this morning (no srsly I did lolololol)

  • This video makes me want to play Mu as a sub....

  • Who's calling it 'vortex'? Only you, sir.

  • @Incruentum No actually its called vortex in the SF community, the vortex is basically a knockdown into a crossover/mixup game. Deejay has a vortex, cr.LP> cr.LP> cr.LP> cr.MK (knockdown) then jump into them right as they get up, depending on when you press j.MK you will hit them either in front or back creating the guessing game. Its called vortex because the opponent basically gets stuck in the same spot and has to play a constant guessing game... if done right

  • @Incruentum I think I've only heard of it as being called a crossunder/crossup, If im thinking of the right thing.

  • That's actually awesome.

  • You did such a professional job that I submit my sub to you sir! I hope to see more of these, keep of the great work.

  • Behold my vortices! Sweet vid.

  • hahaha that is awesome. I thought I knew so much but it's so refreshing to learn more. Thanks for this video, incorporating this into my gaaaaame...now!

  • I hope nobody else ever sees this video

  • @Sawa963 too late, it's on dustloops front page now!
