Where is his hearing protection? never mind... he's been deaf since the Casull rounds. I have an XVR myself... .45 Colt is fine without hearing protection (outdoors at my age). But .45 Colt +P rounds, anything Casull, .460 Mag... better wear hearing protection. Hearing pain is for real. I fired .45 +P without ear plugs once.... once.
nice vid! I like to see the difference between those loads! very versatile gun here. Ive got a 4 inch 500smith and wesson but this gun you showed here would probably be a better choice. I just wanted the 50 cal when I bought it :) Never had any problems with it though.
i just picked 1 of these up, only shot the 200 hornadys, only able to shoot 4 rounds, didnt need the 5th, needed therapy, christ what a cannon. right arm was wrecked for 2 days, sweeeeeeeeeeet, who does this tune , i love it, can some 1 help with a name or artist, 460v is unfukinbelievable.
Nice Video, the wife sat here and watched it with me, she said looks like no recoil some recoil and hang on!!!
Just Ordered a 460V should be here soon, the Wife ordered up some Dies for me and grabbed up some 300gr Hornady XTP mags for me. Are you Reloading and if so any recommendations?
Informative vid, great gun you have there.. I want one for the same reason you do, Alaska fishing, but I will use a crossdraw shoulder holster and a longer, compensated barrel. Will also make an awesome deer gun and survival weapon. I'll reload for mine
I bought it for fly fishing up in Alaska so I picked the short barrel for a few different reasons, mainly weight and the control factor with drawing if need be.
I've shot both the Hornady 200gr and the Buff Bore 360gr. The Hornady kicks like a mule and is fun to shoot. The Buff Bore kicks like a T. Rex just plain hurts your hand after about 5 shots.

For the .45 250 grain at 730 FPS gives you 295.8 FT/LBS.
Those Buffalo Bore rounds are for werewolves.
Do they make speed loaders for this ?
