I have a dell inspiron and the windows 7 crashed in 3 hours.... I tried to deal with this with my warrantee but they didn't do anything instead of taking a good 60 bucks for no reason.. DONT GET DELL I FKIN SWEAR IM SICK OF THIS BULLSHIT COMPANY
Windows Seven is amazing! I down loaded it through Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) and put it on my personal desktop pc, and it operates excellent! My spouse and i unquestionably highly recommend you all dl it!
Hi. Firstly very good review, thanks for that. I was going to buy this one tomorrow in Malaga. We have here a lot in PC City I am a mac user editing in Final cut pro so know where your coming from. It sems most have windows 7 starter with 3 cells and the ACER ASPIRE ONE D250-0DK have the full 7 edition but not as sleek as yours. HP prices are just crazy. Do you find that 1 GB is ok with windows 7?. All the best from a Flooded Spain!!
Hi thanks fir your comments - I find the 1 gig is fine with Win 7 for surfing the web office applications and music and video playback . Upgrading to windows 7 slows you down a little not significantly. I still think this machine is really good at what it does - I wouldn't install to many programmes but for the classic netbook stuff its great.
Hi, Thanks for getting back. I have been investigating the windows 7 starter and the full windows 7. It seems to me that windows starter has NO way of playing back videos or does not have a media player, the home screen can not be changed although that is no big issue. As I have my Mac hooked up to another moniter as you probably know!! I wanted to finish work in Final cut pro send it to compressor to show clients work completed in the netbook, am I asking to much from it??. Best regards to you

That's no Win7 Starter ,Starter Edition don't have glass windows, i think it's Win 7 Ultimate. :)

yes the screen is bright and will handle video streaming although if you want to watch dvd's you'll need an external HD and upgrade to win 7

if you remove some of the unnecessary toolbars on firefox u will have more space on the screen just trying to help!
