Vince: where is footage of shoving match between agents at Love Field? It's prior to cars/party in motion, Roberts' wave-off; takes place near passenger door of a lead vehicle, Kellerman may have been part of altercation - not my imagination, day I saw this on cable I called my folks to tell - in doc aired in Canada c. '99, though narration made nothing of the content. Culled from a newsroom wastebin if I recalli
President Kennedy was a very nice man, was NOT difficult to protect, and NEVER ordered the agents off the rear of his limousine (nor did his staff). The buck stops with the Secret Service. Don't believe any books by former agents trying to say otherwise!
how about that. the secret service guys are out drinking at the cellar nightclub owned by an associate of jack ruby- pat kirkwood. the firestation across the parking lot was called to send over some firemen to take over. remember the name emory roberts- you investigate this good old boy and you'll see he knew how to play the game - go along to get along- of course lbj was the master of the game.
omg!!! that guy right next to the president is my grandfather!!!!! my grandad was a member of the secret service and i have a ton of pictures of them together!!!

First frontal shot of Emory Roberts. Vince, do you have anything in your archives with more shots of Emory Roberts? He has an apparent stressed and virulent look at Kennedy. More shots of Roberts would be appreciated. Thanks for all the work

What a guy! He was the best! You can just imagine JFK saying to the Secret Service man:
"Point me! Point me!"
The very best...:)
