hey man is this dazzle dvc 100 model? i had that but i took it back because it couldn't play pal 60 games only pal 50. here in new zealand we run pal. and games like COD, which is what i wanted to record was pal 60. the dvc 100 model couldn't record pal 60 only pal 50.

@ELITESCOPEZHD If you got a black screen at Pal 60 use Am Cap.

Then open AM cap and go to OPTIONS -> VIDEO CAPTURE FILTER.

Then change video in SECAM_B and click the box with input VHS.

Then use it when you are recording in Black/White and tada you have colour :)

@ELITESCOPEZHD you need install the driver before you install studio 14 make sure the dazzle is not plugged in the install studio 14 then restart your computer then open up studio 14 and am cap put it to secam b and it shud work if not go on pinnicale forums

I had issues recording Fallout 3 from a very basic DVD recorder.....due to the fact that Fallout 3 on the 360 can only be played when the consoles display settings are set to PAL 60HZ. However I used Ulead VideoStudio 11s picture in pictue editing tool to remove some of the lower part of the screen which was all fuzzy. The finished result is fairly decent, as you can see on all my uploaded Fallout 3 videos.

download amcap and then set ur capture sorce with it ot dazzel then choose secam b close it all down then start a normal record with dazzel it will still be in black and white open amcap choose dazzel an error will pop up leave it and it shud be in colour

(remember the untill you turn amcap on you will still be in black and white) if you turn amcap on before you record it will go back to black and white) the amcap process will have to be repeted every time

assuming that your using the dazzle program (studio) i am using studio 11

set up your capture card as show on this vid make sure that your xbox is set to low detail not hd

now set your studio to record your dazzle click ok on the error message (if it pops up)

now open your amcap make sure it is set to dazzle for the capture chance the video setting on amcap to secam 4 and keep amcap open now it will be recording in coulor

When i first tryed i used this.. I had to remove the program and install again.. tryed this method again, got it to Black and White, and now i just open AMcap to get it in colours (Yes, i can open it without any problem now! =D)

Oh, and I just tryed to use Instant DVD Recorder and when i select the device to capture with (Dazzle) it says too "Instant DVD Recorder has stopped working"... I really dunno what to do.. =/

I dunno if it just my computer problem (I have got a good RAM, graphics and enough free disk space), but when i try to open AMCap with the studio opened, (Showing the b&w) it simply doesn't let me have AMCap opened and it gives me an error "AMCap has stopped working" and i have to close the program. And this happenes everytime. But when i try to open AMCap without the Studio 11, it doesn't happen.

I have Vista 32-bit Ultimate.. What am I doing wrong, or what can I do to fix this?

I have exactly the same setup and all the cables the same, even the settings, but i still get it in B&W and when i click ok on the settings it says "no valid input detected"

D3afile, i had this problem. I take it you are using the Instant DVD Recorder? This puts the output as an AVI file and you can't change this, i suggest using some different software to record :)

sure buy any dazzle, they are physically identical. you will need an RGB (standard video cable) and 3x RCA splitters , and you are good to go, look it up on amazon, you will find the spiltters in teh 'rellated items' under the dazzle. =)

thats a codec problem, nothing to do with ur capture, trust me, go bak to ur original saved video and re publish it, it shud work, if not search it up on google, its wot i did, i use sony vegas 8 so u shud think about getting a better editing program...

i need help my capture card was working fine until i tried to use it the other day. I was on pinnicle studios the screen was black and white in the preview screen like always, so i went on to amcap and got this message  "unable to render the video preview screen the parameter is incorrect [080070057 / 11878]" then no preview shows, and when i go onto filter and select secam b or other secams nothing changes. I have tried reinstalling amcap but nothing i still get error.
