series 1&2 were very good,yes. I fell inlove with them instantly. At first I was like wtf a new generation. THANK GOD one of my favorite characters stayed, Effy. Then as I began watching it and seeing these new stories I loved it. I didn't care for JJ or Tomas. I was like.... ok next episode. and the love triangle was fun. BUT The love story between emily and naomie was so well told. At the end of series 4 I wanted skins to just stop because I was afraid of what series 5 was going to bring...

It may attract new people, but it's totally letting down the loyal fans that made this show popular in the fist place. They should've just stopped if they were done with that cast. this is almost painful for me to watch. the first generation was great, but i connected to the second generation in a way that i didn't with the first. i was so invested in all of the storys. so much so that watching their triumphs give me pleasure and all of their downfalls litterally make me ache in pain. i love this gen so much!

Plus the first two seasons had such personality, it wasn't all just sex and drama, it was witty and incredibly well written with good/great actors (Nick Hoult and Hanna Murray specially!). I haven't watched the third season yet but based on this promo it will be very disappointing and will make me miss the first generation terribly, that's why I'm postponing it! Can someone who has watched seasons 3 and 4 tell me if they are honestly good?

@anamulleer Honestly, seasons 3 and 4 are TOOOTALLY the bests from skins, but I warn you, they're dangerously addictive. Every single character is a unique one, and the storyline is as good as the first seasons, but I recommend seasons 3 & 4 more than the others. Hope you like them as much as I did.
