All of the Caucasus nations (Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan) have somewhat related dance styles from their turkish and russian influences. HOWEVER; the majority of Caucasus dances independetly reflect the culture of their nation, in no way relating to Russia. Russian dances, although very physically demanding, and nowhere near as difficult as Caucasus dances.
The dance is caucasian and it doesn't belong to one particular nation in Caucasus. Azerbaijanis dance it, Lezgins dance it, Georgians dance it, Chechens dance it etc. This is my culture and I'm not gonna give a rat's ass about anyone who is here to teach me a lesson about MY culture. Nuff said.

about the dress I agree it is caucasian dress and of cause azeris dress like that too but there was little difference that identified people who was from which part of caucaus. People started to forget about it but it is ok because cultures really look a like. I gave credit its a Georgian music nobody denies it, but the dance is Azeri, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Georgians also borrow our music and implement it in their dances, whats the big deal?
And for the Culture of coaucasus. Cultures are allways rgional not ethnical. You can see that Kalpak is also weared by Türkmen people and you can see similar dressing styles amoung türkmen Tatar and other turkic people. So Turkic people imigrated area and a regional culture has been developed. Just find one Türkmen dance and you will see it. On the other hand, dressing in this video is common till Khazar times which is also a well known Turkic clan from Ogur branch. So get educatedbeforespeaking
I just looked for a good Turkmen dance video recorded in Children's Fest. in Turkey and you would definetly see the similarities but unfortunatly channel doesn't seems to be present anymore. For dance, it has similarties with some of the Turkic dances but ofcourse it is regional. In Turkey, every dance is regional. People living is a closed region ussually develop their own culture but it doesn't mean it is not realted to anyother culture. As I said, culture is regional, not ethnical.

about the dress I agree it is caucasian dress and of cause azeris dress like that too but there was little difference that identified people who was from which part of caucaus. People started to forget about it but it is ok because cultures really look a like. Now the difference is that northern caucasians in the mounteins like noxchi dagestanisns or ingushians used to dress same way but with shorter end and used to have tall hats azeris used to dress similarly but not with those things on chest

bros did not know azeris have dances like this. Azeris dance slitly dfferently from northern caucasians. This style probably went down in azeri dance by chans and lazs from kvemo kartli which early times was taken by azeris from georgia ( it does not matter really it is our song and our culture,I am just saying). Azeris dress differently from northern caucasians they did not have that dress but was probably popularised by georgians who stayed in azeri after war.

Escpecially knowing Turkish history which is way beyond simply Osmanli Imparatorlugu, Osmanli Imparatorlugu is magnificent (with its serious flaws of course), but it is just a dwarf when compared to the huge empires predating it. Its simply saddening that my people are brainwashed so much as to not know their heritage, its your their birtright, you too own Turkish history you know because its your history, no one elses.

I gave credit its a Georgian music nobody denies it, but the dance is Azeri, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Georgians also borrow our music and implement it in their dances, whats the big deal?

And for the Culture of coaucasus. Cultures are allways rgional not ethnical. You can see that Kalpak is also weared by Türkmen people and you can see similar dressing styles amoung türkmen Tatar and other turkic people. So Turkic people imigrated area and a regional culture has been developed. Just find one Türkmen dance and you will see it. On the other hand, dressing in this video is common till Khazar times which is also a well known Turkic clan from Ogur branch. So get educatedbeforespeaking

I just looked for a good Turkmen dance video recorded in Children's Fest. in Turkey and you would definetly see the similarities but unfortunatly channel doesn't seems to be present anymore. For dance, it has similarties with some of the Turkic dances but ofcourse it is regional. In Turkey, every dance is regional. People living is a closed region ussually develop their own culture but it doesn't mean it is not realted to anyother culture. As I said, culture is regional, not ethnical.
