Introduction to Linkedin for Groups

I appreciate Chris' creation of this guide to LinkedIn groups. I am still a tad uncertain about the benefits of joining or starting a LinkedIn group. It seems from the video that one can contact people easier or even see their email addresses who are in your groups often. I wish that aspect of it was clarified more in the video.
