Ryan is the best fit for Drowning Pool... he and Dave were great friends so who better to take his place... to keep the DP name going... just like Alice in Chains... some bands just never need to fade away even if the lead singers are gone...

People, don't understand me wrongly: I like Ryan and he's a great singer, he's one of best guys among singers but I think that he's better when singing more powerful and fast-paced songs. I mean his version of Tear Away isn't that bad but the original sang by Dave is something unpursued. He made this song so melancholic that every time I hear it, I can't stop shivering. You know, as I said, I have respect for Ryan, but Dave created something so outrageous that nobody can do the same.

Just saw DP at Lazerfest here in Iowa and the singer from Five Finger Death Punch came out and helped sing Bodies. FUCKIN AMAZING!!

No he isnt a bad singer. The Album FullCircle und all other SOiL-Albums with him are fantastic.
