  • If they a team from a small town in Texas I'm taking the Texas team. As much as I love football texans see it as religion

  • in the UK, popular sports are ranked like this:

Football, Rugby, [insert 99 sports in here], rabbit jumping, bottle-cap collecting, and American Football

  • Was that a practice or an actual game?

  • American football doesn't look right when its exported

  • A few things to make clear from looking through the comments:

It's completely amateur. People pay to play this for their own enjoyment.

Most teams over here would get beaten by a US high school team. Bear in mind most train once a week and a lot of people don't pick up the sport until they are in their late teens or 20's. The Pirates (the team in the video) are one of the top teams and train 2 or 3 times a week.

  • Comparing rugby and american football is like comparing tennis and cricket because both involve hitting a ball. Because they are both played with a funny shaped ball and involve something called a tackle does not make them similar and one is not better than the other. I've played both codes of rugby and Am. football along with other sports and love them all for different reasons.

  • East Kilbride Pirates, best team in Lanarkshire!

  • My highschool football team is bigger than them. and im sure we would decimate them.

  • @Garrett1240 true your high school team is probably bigger than these guys, (however i can assure you that there are some extremely big guys on that team East Kilbride Pirates), but you must remember that the average american football player in britain DOESN'T START PLAYING UNTIL HE IS 18 OR 19 YEARS OLD, we don't get team gyms and pretty much zero funding........so all I have to say to you is get a grip, and besides you'd probably lose to East Kilbride, they're sick.

  • @marlowcraig our team is going to state. never heard of these pirates

  • Where's that ground at

  • They managed to fit every American Football player in Scotland into one video!

  • i dont like this its bad enough the americans have polluted the world with their fast food franchises why infringe upon the european sports scene too?

  • I love watching americans and bits go at it about each others main sports, (im american) and i love both, I live for Dallas Cowboys and Newcastle United. Both are very different so if you grow up in the enviorment of one i can see how you dont like or know the other but you fool need to wake up not everyone is going to like the sport you support get over it and enjoy what you do like.

  • American football = fat unfit men in spandex tights, eye make up, shoulder pads and maxi pads have one big gay pile on.

    It’s the worst sport ever

  • @ManlnCognito You've never been in a football game have you? That isn't fat, it's muscle, you see it on the linemen, not so much on QB's, RB's and Wide-outs. It's an intense sport.

  • @Thrawn6211 it’s boring, a manufactured game designed to stop start so the TV networks can show lots of commercials

They show it over here in the UK, it starts at 1 am local time and is still going at 4 am. On the few times I have tuned in there are commercials running or the “Athletes” are just standing around. When what passes for action does start it over in seconds

The outfits they wear look ridiculous, the players look unfit. put them on the rugby field they’d be throwing up after 20 min

  • @ManlnCognito I've seen rugby, I agree, it's more challenging than football, but if you were to get on the field, you'd know it's not manufactured, it's a sport with a long history, it's played on and off the screen and takes a lot of fitness, when you see unfitness, that's either muscle or padding, or both. These guys can bench upwards of 500 pounds.

  • @Thrawn6211 How much they can bench doesn't impress me. They could not run continuous for 30 plus minutes. clinically a 300 lb. guy is obese

Lose the tights, take off the padding, get rid of the time outs and commercial breaks...let the game flow like rugby or soccer and then come back.

But as American football is? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @ManlnCognito Well that's interesting. The modern rules of American Football were agreed upon in 1918. The first television broadcast was in 1928. So looks like your theory is...null. The real reason the game stops is because the purpose of the game is not to move the ball across the field. That's just a side effect. The purpose is to move the ball ten yards. They wear protection because President Roosevelt threatened to criminalize violent sports. Try reading some history. It answers questions.

  • @ClassValedictorian I dont care when it was invented or what the rules are or why the players look ridiculous.

American football stinks on ice...you can keep it

  • @ManlnCognito

only the D-line and O-line men are fat....you cant run fast if you're fat dumbass.

  • @Uk12Us fat out of shape men in tights and eye makeup and one big pointless gay pile on.

American football = worst sport in the world

  • @ManlnCognito

Sure....whatever you say. Just remember Tebow Time MOTHERFUCKER

  • @Uk12Us American football = four hours of fat men in tights standing around waiting for the commercials to finish so they can dry hump each other...lol

  • @ManlnCognito

Look up Rey Lewis or Clay mathews. NOW stfu you soccer lover

  • @Uk12Us Never heard of them..in fact out side of the US no has.American football is about as popular around the world as a turd in a swimming pool

How can guys who run in five second bursts be fit? American football promotes inactivity and obesity. 300 lbs. guys are obese

  • @ManlnCognito

You really shouldnt speak for every one. Ive seen some people on here from Germany or France who like the Eagles or Vikings

  • @Uk12Us The od nurd maybe likes American football...but there no overall interest in the sport outside of the US

  • @ManlnCognito

Sure whatever you're just an ignorant little fuck. GOODBYE

  • @Uk12Us beat it you little shit...and keep your crap sport

  • Ha ha ha who the fuck would want to play American FATball in Britain? I guarantee they get less than 50 people turn up to their games. American FATball is fucking shit. Only for fat american thugs.

  • Why the fuck does it say England when the two 'fOOtballers' are Scottish!

American 'fOOtball' like most popular sports in North America is shite! Far tOO high scoring, glamed up pish.

I'll stick to the real Scottish invention Association fOOtball (That's just fOOtball to those that don't know) and rugby union.

  • @albabhoy81

At least it's not like Association football where you can only score one point at a time, and a tied game ends in a boring ass penalty shootout. Of course I'm intentionally exaggerating here because I'm mimicking a twat.

  • @albabhoy81 Football was a Roman invention not Scottish. And not every American Football game is high scoring so you clearly are talking out your arse.

  • @GearsKing2007 The game we know and love today was invented in Scotland. Two teams of 11, refs, two halves, formations, one ball, no hands apart from the keeper was invented in Scotland.

I know the Roman theory and I would bet my mortgage a game kicking a ball about was played loooooooooong before the Romans were around.

I've seen enough American fOOtball to know it's utter shite.

  • @albabhoy81 bullshit

  • @ManlnCognito I can prove it. Can you? I doubt it.

  • @albabhoy81 Oh you can prove that football was invented In Scotland? Ok lets hear it

  • @ManlnCognito Well I was going to tell you about the bOOk Vocabula that was written in 1663 which has the earliest mention of fOOtball NOT the earliest version of people kicking a ball about, that's not fOOtball.

However in the news just a few days ago the BBC had a story entitled Scottish football 'more than 500 years old'

    Here's the first few paragraphs...

  • @ManlnCognito ..."Organised" football was being played in castle courtyards in Scotland more than 500 years ago, experts have found.

Documents show a set of accounts from the court of King James IV indicating he paid two shillings for a bag of "fut ballis" in April 1497.

The world's oldest surviving football dates back to 1540 and was found behind panelling in Stirling Castle.

  • @albabhoy81 Sorry, but even if that was true (you have not provided any references for me to verify what you say) There is historical evidence that the Chinese still beat Scotland by a good thousand or so years.

I cant post the link here as YouTube wont allow it. so I'll send it you by PM

  • @albabhoy81 How are low scoring games amusing? In Soccer, you just watch the ball go back and forth until someone scores after like an hour.

  • You do realise that the team in this video is the East Kilbride Pirates, from Scotland. Here's a fun fact; Scotland and England are two different countries.

  • @matman1813sdc I think it was a joke from family guy

  • @matman1813sdc filmed at crystal palace though

  • Look it is the London silly nannies.

  • 0:15 there is even a baby warming up to join the match...how strange

  • Yea, this is awesome.

  • Most people don't know but American football is played in many countries including Japan and Mexico where it has been played for over 100 years.

  • Most of the popular sports played in the USA have its origin in England.American Football is only played in the USA but Football is played in most countries around the world.

  • @nostalgiamelancolia1 thats right, cause its a pussy version of rugby.

  • American football is shit, play Rugby boys.

  • @ImaginedWriter

    jelly?

  • @ImaginedWriter dumbshit bitch if you gonna talk crap about a sport come and play with the pros bitch bet 1million bucks a bro would crack you in hyalf like a twig dumb ass

  • oh so there is a british american foootball

  • like i said, the usa is the land of immigrants, everyone lives here....we are everybody.....the usa a isnt just anglo culture.....spanish is spoken everywhere...lol

  • @tagspin to my eyes, sometimes US people have double standard. they sometimes are very harsh on immigrants from other cultures than anglo, if they don't follow traditional anglo US culture but when you guys need immigrants on your side, you often say we have every cultures in the US. I am confused. that's just my opinion hehe.

  • @polychronio i dont know about that? what can i say, like you said, these anglo americans are basically the same people from england, its their descendants and i dont always agree with certain laws but then again, why do people always move here?

i mean a country thats only 235 years old but with 330 million people?? america cant be that bad

  • not know to the world? mexico? puerto rico? cuba? dominican republic? lol

just so i can i understand you better, where are you from?

  • @tagspin I meant that cuba and dominican republic are not known to world. there are many chinese in the US, does that mean normal US people are culturally close to chinese than taiwanese? lol. your logic is not very good.

  • @tagspin I am sorry I meant that dominican republic and puerto rico are not known to the world. cuba is a little bit more known than those countries though.

  • i cant help it if americans dont appreciate football....and all i know is culturally speaking, some parts of the usa is basically like south america with all the immigrants who live here....the southwest part of usa was once part of mexico

  • @tagspin geographically yes, you are close, but culturally no, US is like isolation of the world in terms of culture especially in sports. Europe and South america are like same continent in terms of sports

  • @polychronio i agree the south americans also love football but culturally parts of southwest usa is basically like a mexico.....florida is strongly cuban.....ny is strongly puerto rican

are there more south americans living in usa or europe?

  • @tagspin yes USA is country of immigrations. I am not talking about it. I am talking European and south americans grow up watching each others in sports and watch same things same with asians and africans.

  • @polychronio yes i agree with you, football is a global sport but sports arent everything

  • @tagspin yeah it's not everything. I know what you are talking about. but you should know South americans and Europeans(Latin) are very close each others. basically people who live in south america is immigrants of Europe hehe....

  • @polychronio you realize there are many latin americans in america, right??? america is mostly of british/german anestral stock....

like i said the southwest usa is heavily mexican/central american.......florida-cuban and ny/northeast- puerto rican and dominican

  • @tagspin oh yeah those south american countries are not known in the world but I notice those south american countries are popular in the US, but popular south american countries are not popular in the US. I find it weird that the world and the US is quite opposite.

  • i agree basketball isnt as popular as football....how am i bashing it? all im saying is i understand why its so popular throughout the world, even the poorest of poor will play this game, all you need is a round ball and makeshift goals

  • @tagspin that might be the reason why basketball is so popular in the US. it's so cheap to play. now I will tell you why football is popular in the world, It's exciting to watch and great sports.

  • @polychronio i dont know about that because its more difficult to make makeshift basetball hoops.....in a game of football, you can basically place two cones parallel to eachother and its a goal

  • @tagspin that's how poor people play sports. if american sports were popular in the world, poor people would play your sports like that. but reality is american sports are not just popular. people often say american sports are extremely boring to watch in TV.

  • @polychronio america is big but very young country(235 yrs old) we are the land of immigrants, practically everyone lives here.....europe is divided by ethnicity, language but america is not....

  • obviously basketball isnt as popular as soccer/football because its a much older game. and its just easier for young kids to pick up soccer/football because all you need is a round ball to kick and makeshift goals, not necessarily a real one with a net....lol

  • @tagspin you don't even need to compare size of ant to size of elephant. basketball is not even a major sport to compare to most popular sports in the world. the reasons you give is not the why football is the most popular in the world. to my eyes, Americans seem to have inferiority complex to football. that's why you try to bash football and make up the negative reason of yours

  • type in "latin baseball tribute to the latin baseball" latino baseball players, not to be mistaken with latino-american, most of those guys arent from america but they play professionally in america.......back in their homeland, they grew up playing which sport??? thats right baseball

  • @tagspin It's surprised that our third rated south american athletes who play baseball are very successful and popular in the US, but you know we don't care about those baseball players that are extremely popular in the US.

  • @polychronio why wouldnt they be? u got a problem with south american people

now where are you actually from, why does your profile says usa? do u wish to live here and too ashamed of your homeland? can you tell me where you're from?

  • are u some kind of european who wishes to live in the usa, according to your profile?

  • this is true in all countries in the world not only in england. gridiron is for sissy and ugly men.

  • It's funny to see this appear - it's a few years ago now since it was filmed! I'm the guy speaking at the start. That was a scheduled game between the London O's and the East Kilbride Pirates but the game was never played because the ambulance never turned up! We flew all the way down, trawled across London in a bus, got changed and ready to go and the game was called. We then had a scrimmage without our own Defense and ended up with our RT getting a dislocated shoulder, missing his flight home!

  • Don't know if anyone has said this in previous posts. The East Kilbride pirates are a Scottish Division one team.

  • many countries compete in international basketball competetions, not nearly as much as football......but you brits will NEVER reach "contender" status...not even close

and yeah, its safe to say great britain and usa wont be winning any world cup/olympic championships in the near future.....hehe

  • if you looked at team usa olympic basketball record(past and present) u can say americans dominate basketball

the english dont even dominate a single sport....why is that?

  • @tagspin cuz the sports we invent are played throughout the world . tell me somethink the world series how come it only consists of 2 nations thats not even the north american series surely . but the world cup for football (a sport which we invented) has 203 countries competing so obviously you have more chance of wining your the only country that takes your sports seriously

  • @6Gizmo101 actually baseball is big in latin america and japan...u have to realize america has only been around 235 years, a very, very young country.....u brits have the longer history and culture

well we americans dont embrace football/soccer but our womens team do very well in international competetion....3 olympic golds, what about your womens team???

  • @tagspin baseball is big in latin america??? are you kidding me? in latin america, no one even cares about baseball. many people don't even know what baseball is.......

  • @polychronio and what do you know? they have their own pro leagues you american wannabe....not to mention all the foreign baseball players who play in america, especially from puerto rico, cuba, domincan republic etc....

  • @tagspin latin america is called continent of football? only those tiny 3 countries in latin america, baseball is little popular. in most of latin american countries, nobody cares about baseball. baseball is like for third rated athletes who can't play football, tennis and rugby in latin america(and every countries in the world too)

  • @polychronio theres obviously more but the really good players are usually from those countries. are you from latin america or europe because if you're from europe, u dont know shit

  • @tagspin no I am not from europe. you should know that South americans and Europeans know each others very well, especially in sports. it is you who are very ignorant about the world but pretend to know with lies.

  • @tagspin because our country is small small country = less people = less people to choose out of and we still manage to compete at international levels is an accomplishment in itself considering we regularly go up against countries with far higher numbers of people playying sport and far higher populations in general, also need i remind you that this country took over 2/3rds of the world by itself.

  • @kungfufreddy stop living in the past.....lol

  • @tagspin why ask a question if you dont want an answer

  • @kungfufreddy And lost almost 2/3 by itself

  • @tagspin who cares about basketball? basketball is the sports that's from north america and only north americans care. you are should win every basketball events(you don't however).

  • @polychronio only north americans care about yet its also an olympic sport? americans havent won every international basketball competetion but we're pretty dominant......england is just a shadow of its former self

  • @tagspin olympic sports are minor sports-_-; do you really think that if sports is olympic sports, everybody cares about it? lmao I know why everybody call americans ignorant.

  • @polychronio my point is its not just a north american sport because there are ppl around the world who play it....lol and thats why its in the olympics

and why does your profile say america???? lol

  • lets take a look at sports, english arent dominant in sports. they love football/soccer but just google and check out their world cup and olympic record.....its been a very loooong time since they won a gold or even medaled.

americans dont embrace soccer/football and our mens natioanl team suck but our womens team won 3 golds....it probably doesnt mean much to most ppl but hey, they still won

we americans love basketball, just google and check out our record in olympic competetion

  • @tagspin I think comparing the UK and US in sport would be unfair. For example the UK is is made up of England, in terms of population the same as California, Scotland=Missouri, Wales=Oregon, Northern Ireland=West Virginia while the US is roughly the same as the whole of Europe bar Russia. Would a CalMisOreWVir team stand comparison in the Olympics to a combined Europe team?

  • If a European wanted to the play in the NFL, the journey is next to impossible.

    A. the NFL only picks fresh blood from the colleges and Universities in the US. You would have to get a scholarship or enroll in America to even have a hope.

    B. American colleges are aslo in the business of winning and recruit from US high schools and often have they're eyes on kids from freshmen year (age 15-16).

    C. most schools outside of the powerhouses lack the budget to even look overseas.

  • now heres a real sport

  • I had no idea that the British even mention American football.

  • @TiNTSauce same here.

  • glad to see that not just us americans r playing this great sport too

  • @vikesdude123 but nobodys watching or caring for it as you yourself saw in the video

  • @FilipH86 - Because it isn't promoted in this country .. Only played by people who like real sports lol.

  • @AnotherYankee since you people only play it and nobody else would that not make american eggball not a real sport, since your not playing against anyone else. but since everybody else is playing football that would make football a real sport and american egg hand ball a fake sport

  • @FilipH86 - Uhhh .....

  • @FilipH86 - Uhhh ..... Your point are vial and your basing it upon a fanbase which makes you an idiot .. Nobody really plays ping pong but it's an Olympic Sport ? Fucking idiot. Reason why nobody want to play soccer here is because through TV it's so boring ... Even in real life .. Your just jogging back and fourth for 10 mins until you get the ball back then in Football, you actually get competition and something to do rather then just jogging up a down for 90 mins .. That why you have track.

  • Well I'm glad we Americans have our own sports, Football, Basketball, Baseball. Best sports in the world but then I would say that being American. The Spanish invented Soccer and introduced it to Europe and South America. Most of those countries even have professional leagues now. Check out the Brazilian Christiano Ronaldo who plays soccer for Royal Madrid, or Lionel Messi who plays for Argentina.

  • @colbyrules8 hey wait your a gimp plusyou carnt even comment on football since America havent even been past the final 16! And im the first to admit England put on a dismal display at the world cup so stfu!

  • OK ! lets all get over it!, here is my ending statements, go look up chad ochocinco or terrell owens and look at them work out or something and watch their speed and quickness, then go look at a soccer player, its kind of funny to look at...

and pro rugby players would get raped by NFL players, what do you not understand the average person in the nfl is around 6'4 or 5, the line are all 6'7 or more and weigh over 300 lbs, and they can move just as quick as most of you here on youtube

  • hey don't knock till you try it. play the game before you complain about it, it is really fun.

  • @r2d23678 if american football is such a mans game whats with all the pussy armour!!! We have rugby where tjere is no armour just muscle and bones, clearly your the pussy for needing armour!!! Also you carnt compair soccer to american football because they are two completely diffrent sports retard im going to enjoy watching england beat you ass in the world cup today ;)

  • @92TheChosenOne92 hey wait, england didnt! haha pathetic cant even win at your own sport

  • Cant anyone cool down and watch the video? if you don't like it dont comment but if there someone commenting about america or england then leave it you ain't gonna achieve anything from it online

  • All you brits mad you are just now catching up on a Real Mans Game (Real Football)?? not that pussy shit soccer :)

  • England plays American Football? the fuck

  • If someone over here in england played american football for a club they would get laughed at lmao.

  • American football is the worst sport in the world.

Any Brit who plays it is a homo

  • @ManlnCognito

And thus is though about soccer in America. It's viewed as a pussy sport.

I myself love both sports. But grow up.

  • @fol2005 We don't care how real football is viewed in America. we are not trying to sell real football to you. We are happy that it's not popular in the states. But why do you people keep trying to sell your form of football to us? We don't want it...keep it.

And I've never heard of Reggie Bush or Adrian Paterson

  • @ManlnCognito Er america is constanly trying to sell american rugby in england you guys come over here a few times a year playing some of your league games here, As for football it's by far the most popular sport in the world, we dont sell football it sells itself

  • @Strangething90 I think you need to read what I said and who I said it to. and click on my profile and see where I'm actually from.

  • @ManlnCognito My bad lol

  • I like the high powered hit in football.

  • futbol all the way and the rugby is most better than handball

  • Lol American throw ball is so shit. It is from the media center of the world but it still hasn't managed to catch on in any country.

We Brits now how shit it is, give us football and rugby any day.

  • Believe it or not it's caught on quite well in this country. Sure we don't have it at professional level like we used to do in the old NFL europa league but theres the BUAFL (university league) BAFL senior league with 3 tiers, and the Youth League which currently has 3 divisions. I love football and rugby too (BWFC and Sale fan), it just saddens me slightly that people won't give US Football the time of day, if you at least gave it a go, you never know, you could enjoy it.

  • If it doesn't have a pro league, it is still yet to catch on. So it hasn't caught on well.

And I've tried watching it, I've tried playing it and i came to the conclusion it is shit. It's boring, to many stops and breaks for my liking; it's not intense enough.

  • Well you tried it out and found that you didn't like it. At least you tried it before you made a decision, I'm guessing the majority of people slagging it off haven't played it. I must say I find rugby union much more fun to watch than US Football (though i do still enjoy watching American Football.)

  • I have no problem with people playing it, it's just when they claim that it makes them tough - if you strap on kevlar, it's not making you tough. For example - when on army camp in England, the boys stopped playing rugby when the girls turned up and started American football (without padding) so that the girls could join in.

  • @bookworm266

You do realize the rules are completely different. There practically no regulations on how to tackle in American Football. The ball is thrown forward meaning the receiver is running forward and looking backward.... pretty intense when you can literally throw yourself at him as a defender. Just look at some big football hits on youtube and you'll see American Football COULD NOT be player without pads.

  • Not intense enough?

Nice dude. Unless you're talking about rugby, hockey or Australian rules, I can't think of a mainstream sport more intense than football (and I'm not talking about SOCCER).

  • @rawisericho I'm confused.. what sport are you talking about ? football? Because everyone knows football is not an intense sport. It's the beautiful game. but not the intense game. If you want intensity it's all aout rugby. American throw ball would be intense if it was one team who stayed on for the entire game and their wasn't breaks every 2 minutes, but their isn't and for that reason everyone outside American gives it no respect.

  • im american and i think american 'football' is the shittiest sport ever invented ...

    GO MAN U!

    GO FOOTBALL!

  • @cokursh haha man united fan

  • People are the products of whee they are from. I am from the US but live in Sydney now. The American's who think soccer is a sissy sport would love it if they grew up in England or Columbia. The Brits who think American Football is stupid would prefer that if they grew up in America. No one here is going to agree with each other so its just f-ing dumb to argue for the sake of arguing.

    Who cares.

  • ye but americans sey american football is the best sport in the world so y is it not the biggest sport in the world and i think its only the americans wot play it were like real football everywere in the world play it and even rugby is bigger than american football

  • That my fellow American's running their mouths.

I will never insult any man's sport unless they insult mine.

As far as most of the world playing rugby, soccer etc. No big deal, I like that American invented its own sports - basketball, and US Football (sure its a cousin of Rugby) but for those who say we have no culture, well our own sports (and music, technology, movies etc) and many other things prove that to be wrong.

  • @BentTV Ooooh!, wow, you invented a type of football, well guess what!, so did we yanks, its called aussie rules, and we kick bounce and pass a ball shaped just like yours, and i heard its played alot of there in yankville, AFL, look out for it.

  • @Aheadstix85 What's your point? I live here so I know about that although I don't know about AFL being played a lot in the US. Not sure who told you that but I don't think its true. I am 37 and lived on 2 contients before Australia and never once was exposed to AFL or Aussie Rules anywhere in the US. You have an excuse being exposed to the US since your Foxtel cable is 85% American TV.

  • @BentTV (American) Football is my favorite sport and I`m a Brit!

  • @TrilogyofC That cool dude i hear the sport is getting big over there. That's why the NFL plays in London every year.

  • @TrilogyofC

    That's awesome!

  • @TrilogyofC you suck then go to america you fucking idiot

  • @JAEGERSTER ok then soccer dude I will! You should go to a soccer country or else you suck as well!

  • @TrilogyofC i thought british pppl hated american foot ball! im american and i hate american football

  • @eliteswordsman1 Not really,we just don't see why its called football.

  • @wiganerrmc EH?

  • @BentTV oh hell naww. if I grew up in Sydney I would still think soccer is pussy, all that faking injury and shit.

  • @BentTV well said dude. at the end of the day they are both good sports and take skill to play them :)

  • @BentTV Well I know for me I always heard soccer was dumb growing up so I didn't like it. That's sort of how it is in America I think. There are a shitload of kids who play it, but even I don't think half of them even watch it... but I don't know. All I know is that most people aren't into it and dismiss it. Well, eventually I realized I had a mind of my own and don't have to buy into the jargon... I love Soccer now (Watch me a lot of EPL, La Liga, etc.). Basically, think with your own mind.

  • she sport. play rugby. in rugby you dont have to take 5 mins water breaks after ever down.

  • that in itself is the best reason why rugby is better. people dont realise how fit you have to be to play rugby

  • all you people saying american football is for girls, i am british born and rised, i play american football for my uni, pads or no pads its still rouge, most people will have an injury after a full game dont get me wrong i love rugby but the trill of headbutting a guy to the floor and not breaking yourself is something you cant get with unless you wear pads and a hemet

  • i will say american football does take more skill than soccer but i love soccer just as much as i do football they are all mans sports. i now by experience because i have broken both my legs at one time playing american football.

  • the positions in american football are more indivdualized.

  • how can u sey it takes more skill american football all u do is run past people but its same with football (soccer) u run past people but with a football at your feet
