He plays his guitars through a fender custom shop 57 tweed. But a Fender Blues deville or deluxe would be close enough. I would set your guitar switch on the pickup close to the neck and set up your amp with the bass and the mid all the way up, treble at half. Give that a go.

So one way to get close would be to punch up the middle and fiddle with the tone knobs on the guitar i assume?

Kinda, You still won't get the full sound/tone he gets because his guitars have a 25db mid boost chip in it.
