@JAGpr0ductions The arms turning into particles was done with Trapcode Particular and some masking to hide the arms. For the overall dot feel of the image you can read an article on the Trapcode website about some of the process. Just google Trapcode and Waiting for the End and it should pop right up.

@JAGpr0ductions Define "3D Pixelation". Are you talking about his arms becoming particles?

@vfxman222 no no i think he mean LIDAR effect.. actually even im having the same question.. :) how that whole body became all 3D pixel boxes ?? if u can explain it will be a major help :)

@ohheyitspixel @JAGpr0ductions The whole shot was processed through the Trapcode Form plugin in After Effects. The image was mapped over XY to the Form particles. The less the particle count the more pixely it gets. No practical 3D scanner equipment of any kind.
