All the village took part in our Jubilee celebrations. As many "Cornish born and bred" worked on it as incomers. Together they form the core of the community in what is still a thriving village. Sadly today it can't be the old fishing-village-Cornwall I remember as a child. But this was not done by "snobbish, hoity-toity pretentious people ". Quite the reverse. These are the very people who are working hard to keep things going for such as you. So celebrate and maybe join the Parish Council.
