  • This is what happens when your on the road and eating at greasy spoons, smoking and drinking and not getting enough sleeop at night...One day your looking great the next you look like a 18 wheeler hit you.

  • Debbie you are your fathers daughter. i sure wish i could have met you. your father and i became good frends through Shorty Warren when he played at shortys Copa club in seacaucous nj i was the baker who supplied the bread for the club.after hours SHORTY would have his cook fix up a meal fit for a king. your father,me, shorty, his wife, and the band would spend the next 2 hours eatting and shooting the brease. i sure would love to hear you sing i know youll be great, you got the looks too.

  • Violet sounds good.

  • I'll bet he's very proud of Debbie, that she followed his footsteps. He still got it after all the years. Debbie, you should record some of your daddy's hits and see where they go. Seems you have a natural talent for singing country music, and boy could country use a revival of the true standards your daddy recorded. Great Job.

  • That is funny. That girl doesn'\t even have her mike turned on.

  • Is this from "Webb Pierce: Greatest Hits"? Its bad that Best Buy or Walmart doesn't have Webb Pierce in the Country section, he is an important part of Country Music. Thanx fur sharin'! 5 thumbs up!

  • so true they could make a lot of sales

  • He dated my mom.. she thought about him for years after.. named me debbie// wow weird..lol

  • Webb was before Elvis both great singers!

  • if this was the late 60s, no. he was big in the 50's that was his style. i recall many men through the 60's wearing their hair that way.

  • Webb Was One Of The All Time Greats. Was And Still Is In My Book. Nobody Can Beat "The Wondering Boy".

  • That is Webb himself. It is hard to believe he changed his looks so much as he got older but that is Webb.

It is also his daughter Debbie singing with him. What a beautiful lady.

  • Is she his natural daughter or is she adopted?

  • @highnrising Yep she's his REAL daughter and a good friend of mine.

  • @imhorsepoor2 webb pierce was my grand mothers first cousin they lived in stone mtn alabama

  • @crazzzyduckz1 That is not true our family was from West Monroe La. And had no cousins. He mother was my great grandmother and is sister was my grandmother.

  • who is the fellow introducing this song ? webb ? can we confirm that's debbie ? where is debbie ?

  • It's her, google it. You'll find her pics.

  • Debbie is dynamite. Did she record any solo vocals?

  • Webb was raised on a farm 2 miles where I am from outside of West Monroe, La. It was rural in the 1990s. I can only imagine how it was when he was growing up.

  • Thats the way I like women. Pretty but not to pretty. Debbie was an angel!

  • yepper if you dont know the words to a song just jirate

  • Well, she LOOKS as good as Webb SINGS....

    And sings very well also.

    Very nice.

    Thanks 4 posting!

  • Debbie, you're absolutely an angel - hard to watch your dad when you're on camera! (Did you come in late on the second "baby kisses on paper" section - there's a funny look between you two...) Looks like the fiddler might be Vassar Clements, from the 1/2 second shot of his face at the end of his break.

  • yes, it does appear to be Vassar.

    RIP Vassar.

  • webb has always been my favorite singer.I have

all his albums I think.I also have this dvd with this song He and Debbie sang good together. She would be so good on records.

  • Don't know, she was involved with the Webb tribute cd by Gail Davies a few years back.

I have a photo from that project with Debbie, Her mom Audrey, and George Jones.

    She looked great.

  • Thanks for the info. I wonder what happened to her since he died.

  • Actually I still live in Nashville, am self-employed, and work part-time at a horse racing facility. Thanks for asking!!!

  • Debbie

What a pleasant surprise to hear from you. I hope you are doing well. That was a great video you made with your dad. With your talent, you should have a recording contract in county music. I know you would do well. If you have any more videos with your dad, I hope you will post them so we can all enjoy them.

I remember when I was in college in Springfield Missouri in the late 50s and going the Ozark Jubilee and seeing your dad and Red Foley. Great music they made.

  • Debbie

I thought you might like to see all the great comments about you.

You have a lot of friends.

    BOB FORD

  • Yes that is his daughter Debbie.
