Until now, Americans have viewed the government as too big and powerful to stop from violating the Constitution, to keep them from perverting it solely to suit their own agendas. Is it worth defending or not? The Constitution clearly grants us freedom from tyranny, yet it has become a reality.

Maybe if you approached it from the standpoint of living in a FREE nation, where the Constitution in its entirety is observed, acknowledged and obeyed by federal and local governments, then maybe you would understand the spirit in which it was written. As government grows like a shmuck on welfare eating bonbons all day, our liberties have been stripped from us while we've sat by and watched it happen.
You are not a part to the compact known as the Constitution unless you are related to someone who signed it. Taking back something which is not yours is a crime.

"There is tyranny", and "we need our constitution back", well those are pretty charged statements, but you never told us what the tyranny does, how it hurts, or who exactly is exacting this tyranny and why. I'm also confused at "lost our constitutional rule of law." I'm a constitutional lawyer, its the same as it ever was.

We the People for ourselves and our Posterity = those who signed it, and those who are related to them.
This is why judges say "If you bring up the Constitution one more time, I'm holding you in contempt."
The Constitution creates two political classes - the People (those who make the rules), and the citizens (those who follow the rules with consent).
The 13th Amendment outlaws slavery, the 14 Amendment created voluntary servitude.
Don't rely on what you've been taught. Read, think!

Second, quoting the Declaration of Independence in a discussion about the Constitution makes no sense.
The DOI is a great document which discusses inalienable rights with statements like "ALL men are created equal." Very inclusive!
Statements like "WE the people" and "OURSELVES and OUR posterity" are very exclusive.
This is why Patrick Henry said "I smell a Rat" when he read the Constitution.
