Red Steel 2 control wise was almost perfect. What kept it from greatness were side quests and other things like that to get more currency and other stuff. It was too straight forward, Which to an extent I think I can see why they did that. I mean people still have a hard time switching from Dual Analog to Pointer Controls as it is. If they made as hard as it could be, a lot of people might have gave up.
Hopefully they make Red Steel 3 on Wii U and give it the full treatment.

Who cares about the score in reviews? If you like the game you like the game, I relly don't like scoring in reviews, becuse they basically tell you what you what you shuld think about the game. The cell shading was smart, everyone knows the wii's graphic isnt the best even myself as a wii owner, but it has the fun factor, cell shading makes the console look better then it is. But redsteel 2 has to be one of the best looking and most interactive game out on the market.

The Next one is put a freakin joystick on the main control, not just the nunchuck, and redesign the thing so that you thumb is free too use it sometimes (like with an iron knuckle-like grip). This way the motion plus stuff is used only for the sword and the point thing only for shooting. Basic movement using two joysticks

That kind of move nunchuck + point remote is actually really good. If you don't belive me try Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex. Works fine for that. :)
Movement controls seemed fine to me. The only trouble I had was swinging my sword at items before I was locked on, which naturally threw my camera off, but once I figured that bit out, I never had a problem.

This game deserves 9/10, the story is great, the graphics look like a ps3 game, and the controls, they hurt my arms! I actually fell like I'm sword fighing, and swinging and blocking and all that crap tires my arm! The music is also good, and the voice acting is like a cheesy movie, which is good. I love the cutscenes!
i think your wrong about the moviemtn, its called lock on use it. and adjustable controls should make it so it fits your style of play, but amazing game msot fun ive had in a game in a while

moving in battle is easy it has an auto lock so you don't have to point at the screen to turn you will be focusing on your target the whole time and you can switch targets if you have to

Oh that shovelware from many of the 3rd Party Devs are a pain in the ass as they make finding good games on the stores hard but not in general as I know many of the good games on the Wii and can tell what's good and what's not.
It's a great game but however it's a little short and lacks the replay value unless you want to redo it over and over but hey redoing it is great so an 8.5 or 8.4 would've been a better scor.

i have a question... is there any left handed who owns this game... because i want to know if it is hard to play with the remote in left and the nunchuck in the right hand... (i am left handed ;D)

That kind of move nunchuck + point remote is actually really good. If you don't belive me try Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex. Works fine for that. :)

Movement controls seemed fine to me. The only trouble I had was swinging my sword at items before I was locked on, which naturally threw my camera off, but once I figured that bit out, I never had a problem.

in the beginning when they were showing the RS 2 title, the aim circle was coincidently following my mouse. For a second, I thought there was some weird Youtube update that I hadn't heard about.

@mustachio31 10 hours is very short for 100 percent completion. This game looked good to start but since it was a wii title they thought they could just skimp on it. Third party wii developers are just starting to frustrate me...

@epicdavid well actually its a SUPER HARD story mode. there is also a challenge mode but i havent tryed that yet. dunno what it is.

I stopped watching there. Because this is more swords then shooting. and if want to use the gun more than the sword, than this game isn't for you.

This game deserves 9/10, the story is great, the graphics look like a ps3 game, and the controls, they hurt my arms! I actually fell like I'm sword fighing, and swinging and blocking and all that crap tires my arm! The music is also good, and the voice acting is like a cheesy movie, which is good. I love the cutscenes!

i think your wrong about the moviemtn, its called lock on use it. and adjustable controls should make it so it fits your style of play, but amazing game msot fun ive had in a game in a while

moving in battle is easy it has an auto lock so you don't have to point at the screen to turn you will be focusing on your target the whole time and you can switch targets if you have to

I just can't understand all the RED STEEL 1 hate. Yes the graphics were sub-par to say the least but the gameplay itself was awsome. It's one of my all time favourites. Perhaps my all time favourite.

i agree completely. people hate the wii because it doesnt have that great of graphics. but my favorite games of the generation have come out on it ( twilight princess, metroid prime 3). its a great system, the only problem is all the 3rd party shovelware that should not exist because they are half assed peices of shit.

I know but for the good games it's very appealing.I think people should look for appealing graphics rather than good ones.
Oh that shovelware from many of the 3rd Party Devs are a pain in the ass as they make finding good games on the stores hard but not in general as I know many of the good games on the Wii and can tell what's good and what's not.

It's a great game but however it's a little short and lacks the replay value unless you want to redo it over and over but hey redoing it is great so an 8.5 or 8.4 would've been a better scor.

@Equilibrium1991 thats not true the way I see it the game has mostly everything a great game needs:Good Graphics,smooth transition between frames,5 weapons available for customization,and a good variety of attacks.All that is what makes a good FPS especially the graphics cuz remember this is on Wii
