I'm late to this party, but I'm going to Namibia and CCF in a couple months, and I'm wondering how you were able to pet the cheetahs and get that close. They have the different activity thing syouc an pay for, which one was that?
Hi, jubbles2343. Thanks so much for posting this video which I have shared on the Cheetah Conservation Fund's page on Facebook. You can also post as video response on our YouTube channel, if you'd like. It's a great way to show what a great experience it is to see cheetahs at CCF. Patricia (CCF)
You should definately go to Namibia, the cheetahs are worth it and the steaks are fine. I didnt get it on video but I was driving up the sand dunes in the Toyota, I love trucks with big engines lol.
OMG¬ WOW i never knew that cheeters meowed , I been to namibia but didnt see the cheeters, I am deffo going back to see them next time.. check out my namibia vido...
hey I need you to tell me your e-mail again so I can send you the picture, tell me what other pictures you want if you want any. Also there was another sign saying "thirsty" bit harsh in the middle of the desert
The scene with the cheetahs chasing things and me being licked is from the Cheetah conservation Fund/foundation the bit with the miaowing cheetahs I cant remember but I'm going home soon so if you remind me I'l find out.
Oh and please tell as many people as you can about this video and my others as I am trying to get as many people to see what the nice bits of africa are like.
I recommend to post this video as "video response" to something popular Namibia tourism video (something, that relates to this video). Allowing embedding could bring some new viewers. View count should be risen, by doing that.

Yep, Cheetahs act just like big cats they can be owned as pets in Namibia and are incredibly loyal and friendly when raised from birth. They will come running up and rub up against your leg an dpurr like mad. The purr is huge like you said and you can feel the whole cat vibrate. And when are you gona make some vids!! take a day off and go shooting or something!
Man! That looked like fun. The Cheetah is one of my favorite animals and you got to pet one? Geeezzz... how lucky can you be?
Most of the country looks like parts of West Texas. No Cheetahs to be found there but Mountain Lions, deer, and bear. Can't pet them though. To them you are food. lol... Come visit us in Texas and I will show you around.
Yeah I was very lucky to be licked by a little cheetah and bitten by a bigger one, (I get to tell people a cheetah bit me hahaha) Texas sounds like a great place to be, I loved driving around Namibia in the Toyota Hilux (best car in the world)
Holy hell, that looked like loads of fun. The driving musta gotten kinda boring though. I somehow doubt that my upcoming trip to Russia and Sweden will be as adventurous as yours lol

Interesting video. How much did the travel cost and how many days was the trip?
That miaowing Cheetah may ask you to give more food :D They seem just like my cats, just bigger :)
Rekyylivoima 4 years ago
The trip was 9 days long butwhat you see here is a very small amount off all the photos/videos I took. The food and fuel was very cheap.
