  • I Believe This Was A Video Clip Of ABC News' Good Morning America's Developing Story Report On Hundreds Of Occupy Protesters Shutdown Port Of Long Beach Second Busiest Port In U.S. On Monday Morning, December 12, 2011.

  • WE ARE THE 99%!!! PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE ZEIGEIST MOVEMENT! WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD! WE CAN MAKE A RESOURCE BASED ECONOMY HAPPEN! WE NEED TO STICK TOGETHER! OVER RUN THIS BULLSHIT!

  • One step too far.

Camping out in a park, or in front of the Fed, is one thing. Jamming up the Port of Long Beach, or any other transportation hub, is quite another. These idiots need to be thrown so far under the jail house, that ya' have to pump them beans and sunshine.

Way to go, dickheads, for interfering with the daily work and income of untold thousands who don't have anything to do with the other fucksticks that you're upset with.

Oh yeah, Champions Of The People...

    Total bullshit.

  • 7000 lol x by ten bitch

  • @cappygolucky Funny how the number gets smaller each time they report it.

I was there. I know there's no way in hell there were only 7000 people. The Oakland port is GIGANTIC and it was damn near shoulder-to-shoulder crowded most of the day. And that's not counting the simultaneous Occupy protests downtown.

  • You aren't listening to me apparently, Californians are the only losers in this situation, if China cant unload on the west coast, they'll just ship it all down to Mexico and up through Texas... you're just fucking yourselves right in the ass.... wow

  • @deathzeppelin84 I didn't realize all that Chinese crap was completely consumed in CA. You're right, but everyone's getting screwed. Not just CA.

There comes a time when you just have to take a stand...even if it ends up hurting. Not doing so could hurt much more in the end.

  • @jawayetti No, that is rhetoric you are using...it isn't an argument and it won't work on me.

This act will essentially continue the cycle of interference that free markets do not need. The rest of the Unites States, and China will be fine. The real winners in this situations are Mexico and Texas. it's not hard to wrap your mind around, it's simple geography as a force in the free market, by interfering with this situation you are cutting the state of Californa out of tax revenue, nothing else

  • @jawayetti Your hurting more people than helping and you are doing so an unfair manner, closing ports? when they chant "WHO'S PORT? OUR PORT" i get sick of it. This isn't communism, this is a capitalist country. When all of a sudden do they get to control the ports? Did they buy it from them? Do they work there? No it's none of those, they just think they can do something important and so they do something that isn't important to progress, but to losing jobs and Failure.

  • so punish China and the rest of the world for wanting to trade with us? that doesnt make any fuckin sense!!

  • Comment removed

  • All for these protest, and even have a lot of ideas for it. But, there is no doubt this protest would be about number 1,011 on my list, personally they should stick with about the top 10 or less. Wall Street is just fine, the banks are just fine, Republican and Democratic conventions, etcetera are just fine, almost anything government, starting with a Home Land Security office or a TSA, one of the freddies, FED's major places of operation, Capitol Hill, none of them work for America.

  • What people don't get is that goldman sacks and the production of goods in China are using slave labor to bring you your dumb ass products. Shut it down and mess with the economy more? no. They are going against the corruption that is raping this country and all it used to stand for. If this messes with your jobs then that is collateral damage of a system that is destroying people everyday. Let it crash.

  • @Fiorwestcoast well stated.

  • im just wondering if this has been the plan all along...they need a reason to justify shifting our main line in from china in through mexico...what better way than to encourage a bunch of flake out losers to occupy the west coast ports, making it look like the public is to blame when CA goes into the greatest recession its ever known after getting cut off from china

  • watching this video and reading these comments just makes me sad....still so far behind on understanding of free markets

  • wacko jacko fresco has a brilliant idea for the future. however, most of us aren't invited.

  • $Millions in losses!?!?!? Here's an easy solution for GoldmanSachs: all 3rd tier managers write their name on a slip of paper and put them in a basket. the person's whose name is drawn doesn't get a x-mas bonus this year.

  • shut down the market to save it? if you want to change AMERICA then change AMERICA and stop blocking off trade from China. Whose retarded idea was this? do you realize how easy it would be for china to ship their goods to mexico and import them through texas, totally bypassing CA and ruining its economy?

  • Get a life you morons.

  • Everyone needs to check out Jacque Fresco and the Venus Project. They offer a fair, unbiased, in depth solution to the monetary system. We have to evolve and now is the time. We all need to educate ourselves with this incredible tool called the internet. Jacque is a 95 year old social engineer, inventor, and philosopher who invented the mag-lev train and other great things. Give everyone access to whatever they want, but no ownership. Its NOT anything near socialism, its WAY beyond it.

  • @Kmascak1 People are still to greedy and power hungry to even consider a resourced based economy........It WILL happen because of necessity, but only then.

  • @Redpilldown

i agree, but without trying to spread the message, we will destroy ourselves even sooner

  • @Kmascak1 Humanity walks with small steps, you can make it run but each step will be dangerous. If a RBE has any chance of being heard the basics must be sorted, removing corruption is the best start.

  • @Kmascak1 Venus project is a bunch of bullshit.

  • @Shellshock1918 Venus Project is where the human race will end up if we don't destroy ourselves.

  • @Fiorwestcoast you are right 100%........it will not be a choice

  • @Shellshock1918

If you lived in another society completey different from the one we live in, and someone told you about our fucked up, corrupt, illusion of false freedom, ruined by corporatism society, would you jump on the bandwagon? Probably not, so i suggest you give the Venus Project another look with an open mind. Because its better than anything your non-contributing ignorant ass could come up with. Jacque Fresco is fucking brilliant.

  • @Shellshock1918 think about it when the oil starts to run out.....is it such a crazy idea?

  • The only thing I think of about Long Beach is a high population of Cambodian People! haha!

  • I hope Ron Paul wins the Presidency, I think he will shower us with alot of Wisdom and piss of the Liars of the World that only seek things for their own personal gains then for the Gains of all in the world and in America. To much Evil runs this world at this moment in time, and this needs to be changed through Educating people with honesty and truth. It's the only way things will change, until then Hell is still here to stay and growing in strength. God bless this World with Knowledge & Wisdom

  • Lame, we americans import alot of stuff that help us Live, how does this make things better. We also ship many things to other countries in the world, so they're only destroying everyone for their own personal needs. If they want to change things run for political offices through out our country and educate others about things as well as take part of the process. These people only care about themselves and their own way of life, and to me isn't the proper way of doing this.

  • @Budvb It does not affect you YET! Americas political system is corrupted and cannot be changed with votes. This is why your countrymen are getting mad.....open your eyes, Ron Paul will do jack shit unless the corruption is sorted.

  • @Redpilldown I agree with you, but would hate to say that we didn't try, don't know unless we do try.

Yeah this system is only going to change is when we as individuals change ourselves first, as more and more change their ways to a better way and more balanced life, is when this system as a whole will change to bring balance for all. I fear we have gotten so lost by these worldly items that it makes it hard for most to change for the better by our lust for lifeless things.

  • @Budvb I would really like to ask you a question, so I ask you this and hope for a simple yes or no.

Do you think ALL people are entitled to clean air/water and healthcare and happiness. Two letters or three....any more will not be an answer.

  • @Redpilldown Yes, and then we need to give up on all things and live like the American Indian for they left little marks upon the earth and never took more then they needed. We're wasteful and do more then we need all in the means to make Money! Instead of seeing the impacts we do upon the Earth all for what we Want! Needs is Abundance Wants is too much! I wish all things where as simple as Yes and No for we would not need to think things through. Yes, if we agree on what's clean

  • @Budvb Maybe PURE communism if it even could exist, it would be a utopia, but as you can see, it commonly ends up being a distopia because the rest of the world runs by another system and a bunch of bad ideas, if even done, it has to be complete perfect else if it is one bit off, it doesn't work. This is in my theory only though, i don't actually know if PURE communism can even be achieved.

  • @Evenwas616 but usually it's more fun being in a democracy, lots more opportunity for the individual.

  • @Evenwas616 Yes, I agree if the 100% where Moral, Socialism would work, until then it won't. For the Wolves, clothed as Sheep will slaughter true sheep. Through my Faith Jesus wants to provide for all, but the Jews of the Tribe of Judah in those days and their Government, wanted only for themselves. Socialism takes 100% Love to work without it, its distorted and will destroy itself by our Sins. In a world of Lies, the Truth is Evil! I see this a lot today. Lies for Pride = End badly!

  • @Redpilldown Healthcare is No, it's not needed it's a luxury given to us, God gives us everything we need already. Wouldn't need Healthcare if we lived a clean life. For Life would take care of us as it has done for 1ooo's of years.

  • @Budvb “Healthcare is No, it's not needed it's a luxury given to us”

A clean lived life will not stop polio, typhoid or a defective heart valve, for a god fearing person you show a complete lack of compassion for the fate of anybody apart from yourself. If you are a jebus lover he would treat you with the same contempt as he showed those in the temple.....It truly amazes me that people can be so selfish and still call themselves moral........goodbye!

  • @Redpilldown Our human bodies has earned it's spot here on Earth, so your saying the Human Body is incapable of becoming immune to disease & only through Drugs we can fight disease, is that how MRSA was created? Our belief in Drugs create a Super Bug as in the flesh eating disease that is Immune to most drugs, maybe the bacteria had health care to, too fight our healthcare pills. I don't like watching peoples bodies become soulless but we don't live forever, nor would want I too.

  • @Redpilldown P.S. we don't die we are Energy created from Matter. lol Science tells us this, and Energy can not be created or destroyed. I will live on forever! Just maybe not with this Body and being here on Earth.

  • @Budvb Hmmm you might be interested in The Zeigeist Movement. It's very hard to find an intelligent person like yourself!

  • @mybabyfarphie07 Zeitgeist German word for Spirit, what type of Spirit Movement is it?

  • Love it! Eat SHIT Wall Street and you dog fucking traitor Obama! LOL.

  • This might be acceptable in a communist or socialist country where you don't have a choice on how much wealth you can accumulate or who you can support in office or what job you get outside of the public servancy. But it isn't these are ports for products that local businesses need to keep their families safe and customers happy. This is a free market economy and if you attack that all we are left with is a socialist or communist maybe even fascist police state America, I hope Occupy stops this

  • @ConcealedTruism

There are more options than just socialism, communism and capitalistic corporatism. We have enough resources, technology and information to start abolishing the monetary system, taking a survey of all the resources in the world and giving everyone the opportunity to access anything they want, instead of ownership. I know it sounds far out there for many people, but its what will happen in the future and we need to start going in the direction. Old systems are becoming outdated

  • uhhhhhhmmm.. I run a business and this is going to really effect me. How am I responsible for what Goldman Sachs has done?

  • So the jobless are causing more people to lose jobs and join them,

Yeah they sound like they know what they are doing....

  • @ConcealedTruism complete morons. I was sympathetic to them for a while when they were protesting finance, but wtf are they doing now? Idiots.

  • there were definitely more than 7k people for the first general strike in oakland. it was more like 15k from the videos i saw, but people on the ground think it was 50k

  • @issagc international media reported it at between 20 to 30 thousand!

  • i just posted the vid corporate america wild wild west, i hope he posts it to show all you non regulation fools, what that world would look like!

  • @61181crm And none of this occupy bullshit. One time deal, as many people as possible. One week break, then do it again. Because if there's one thing that works, it's one day marches with large turnout, not scattered long term protest. That has never worked.

  • and lol bc wtf are they keeping from coming in here?,radioactive lead based products from china or somewhere simular?...fkn laughable, keep that shit out.we dont buy anything worth a fuck & we sell poisoned food.bet you they just adverted thousands of cases of cancer having that shut shit down.who knows maybe avoided the next plague!! fuck the poison exchange.fuck free trade.every country needs to make your own goods.

  • @iWASbeingModest if you have a better quality at cheaper price to offer why are you not in business loser? bitch and cry that's all Communist pussies can ever do

  • @iWASbeingModest yup got it, bite the nose to spite the face... brilliant plan, screw Ron Paul, lets elect this rocket surgeon

  • all those loser comies are cutting their own wrists.

Morons, what you gonna eat when you bankrupt your employers??? you yourselves don't wanna employ, don't wanna produce, you don't have money, you don't wanna save.

Occupiers, the bottom 1% are on a suicidal mission

  • sorry but i think shutting down the port sends a great msg:america doesnt produce shit anymore, nothing, nada.most sheep have no clue about this, until someone says something like, stupid protesters we dont make anything here wtf!!.we rent out our military to fkn crazed lunatics, now they fully purchased the troops, they are not ours anymore.so now we're down to crops that generate poison as it grows,i mean "engineered".we produce just food now,fat asses dont worry you will still get your mcdonald's.

  • @iWASbeingModest America doesn't produce anything because it's too expensive to produce stuff here. It's expensive because of all the laws, mandates, rules, regulations, prohibitions, and taxes imposed on businesses in America. On top of that you have labor unions supporting minimum wage laws which do nothing but driving up the cost of labor and increase unemployment among unskilled workers. It's time you focus your attention on government as the problem.

  • @XulChris Bring the cost down? That's stupid. It's not about the labour being expensive, it's about other labour being cheap. Very very cheap. China's middle class is growing and wages are going up, they are going to lose through India's wages. To say that American wages are too high is idiotic and ignorant of the 30 year wage freeze that has existed in North America.

  • @snipzor since the us is producing nothing of course the wages are too high. If we were to be paid for what we actually produce majority would be making less than $1 an hour.

  • @Armando7654 Just to let you know, you're a very unconvincing troll, even most free market capitalists don't think high wages are the problem but China's low wages.

  • @snipzor haha you know nothing: capitalists don't think the problem is China's low wages. Communists like you only do. Capitalists identify the problem as lack of productivity and no savings. high wages don't cause increase of standard of living, productivity does. high wages cause baubles

  • @Armando7654 Yea, either a bad troll or a very stupid person.

  • @snipzor Wages are a price just like anything else. It is stupid to make laws like a minimum wage. We should make a maximum wage law for people in government. If you work for the government or as a government contractor, the most you can possibly make should be about $7.50 / hr. That includes the job of the President of the United States.

  • @XulChris Consider the work done by minimum wage people, it offers no ability to sustain any lifestyle. Consider who actually uses the minimum wage, some of the wealthiest companies do for instance, so let's not pretend that the minimum wage is screwing people. It's only screwing the people who are paid it.

  • @snipzor Yes, the people who can't get a job are currently living off of welfare. You will get your wake up call when China de-pegs the Yuan from the US dollar and the food stamps don't buy anything any more. People will be starving to death and they will have a choice of working for pennies an hour and child labor, or starving to death. Soon you will get your wake up call my friend, very soon.

  • @XulChris

Very unlikely that we will have a physical food shortage in a America without some sort of epidemic. We will be poor, but we will have food.

  • @RedFromWinter Assuming the US government blocks exports to China who will be extremely rich and buying up all our quality meat. Americans will be left to eat the dog food. Hopefully we can get someone like Ron Paul in office who believes in free trade and is not a protectionist.

  • @XulChris Nice, way to not respond to anything I say in any capacity. Genius. Absolute genius. Wonderful impossible doomsday scenario by the way, in no way is it incredibly stupid.

  • @snipzor Yes because you are too stupid to reply to directly, I'm simply replying to allow intelligent people to read and learn. You are too far gone to actually converse with other than to just dish out insults to.

  • A false flag would shut america down cause all the pieces look like its in place too me

  • @61181crm Whats the point.. Washington DC is currently OWNED by the 1%

We are hitting them were it hurts... MONEY.

Those fuckers make billions a day importing MADE IN CHINA bull shit. We are now shutting down some of those imports.

Have a problem with it? GO BUY AMERICAN!!.

  • @2bRealist Right, and the more you hurt them, the more the government will come down on you with their massive power. You need to protest DC because government has too much power. I guess you wont figure that out until you are sitting in a government FEMA camp doing slave labor.

  • Maybe it's just me but I think this is a good idea, you have to make it so uncomfortable for the average person that they will have to wake up, the point is to just get attention!

  • Don't listen to these clowns who were brainwashed by the corporate fascists and their media. This is the most patriotic thing any American can do at this point!

  • What a bunch of stupid socialists. Don't these morons know that income inequality is caused by socialism and the more socialism you have, the more inequality of income you have? Of course not, because people against free markets are complete morons.

  • @XulChris What "free market" are you talking about, what degree of "socialistic" set up are you talking about, people push talking point into you ass and you just have to split it here.

free market is not free if you do not have GOV to protect it, prevent bad product to put on shelf and / or get justice from your purchased of failed product via legal system, ALL involve government. Otherwise, go drink poison milk from China and die already, fool.

You don't even know what socialist means.

  • @garytcw Moron: it is not the government's job to prevent bad products from being bought, that is the responsibility of the consumer. If you don't get your money back, then don't shop there any more. You don't need government at all for that. wrt milk, in China you get your head chopped off for selling bad milk, in the USA the companies just get the FDA to approve melamine as safe for babies to consume. You don't even know what free-market means.

  • @XulChris yeah, after you die from for example the margerine that was made completely from human waste, you can stop shopping there for sure, by the way the guy was eventually beheaded by the chinese but only after a lot of deaths!

  • @487shawn no one especially the government can guarantee you anything because the future is ultimately unknown and so are other people, so guarantees don't exist. So you better grow the fuck up and cowboy up

  • @Armando7654 all modern societies have regulation its part and parcel of a modern society, only in the last thirty years have we seen the race to the bottom with globalization which has been a huge failure, internationally its known as the resource curse when a poor country find valuable resources then the exploitation begins, if you want a country without regulations go to the third world thats the system they have there and ask them how its working out!

  • @487shawn haha yes if wanna eat you must exploit natural resources from the ground or die it's that simple you little beast

  • @Armando7654 lol...i am in business, you ignorant piece of shit.im your mother's pimp.im mad about the hubs too bc i sell her pussy internationally & her asshole is traded on the stock market.im not a commie, moronic cum guzzler,im an american & you can go fuck yourself.freedoms hurts.

  • @Armando7654 okay wtf here we go! The richest man in the world reported a income of 32 billion dollars, thats billion with a b!, no person or corporation has become a sucess on their own no one! they stand upon the shoulders of the workers and society and the communities they have now abandoned, when profit margin is the overriding principle of every other concern thats called tyranny and its the tyranny of greed that will spell all of our dooms!

  • @487shawn the fact that you are looking at the rich man's money instead of your own compensation means you are possessed by envy and greed. if workers by receiving compensation improve their standard of living what harm can it do you that another man is doing better still? if you received compensation that means your standard of life has improved not been exploited. the only thing that's exploited is ur own awareness of what you could be but are not because you chosen to be a worker.

  • @Armando7654 What a crock!! just because you want to roll around in a pile of money doesn't give you the right to pillage the resources and rape the communities to satisfy your greed, its really funny when egomaniacs are told no and watch the fit they have!

  • @487you are so envious it's creepy. pillage the resources is necessary because you demand it necessary to consume. stop consuming and you will stop pillaging.HA HA

YOU are asking to rape the communities when you demand to buy food. Every time you spend a dollar you say: " please rape the communities & to lower the prices, rape more severely and mercilessly". so because you want to buy & eat that make YOU the greedy one which makes YOU the egomaniac which is so funny to watch

  • @Armando7654 this is my last respond to you troll as your not interest in a real conversation, go sell your mother!

  • @487shawn so you would give your mother for free!? HA HA

  • @487shawn Margarine isn't even food, you probably have no idea about the history of margarine and how the government has been involved in the sale of margarine for over 100 years. If you eat margarine today you are eating poison and will die from heart disease. Yet the government is not protecting you, why not? You are better off not listening to what the government tells you to eat. Consumer free-market regulation is better than government regulation.

  • These people need to shut down Washington D.C. Let me know when they get down to the real work.

  • no, we do not hear you yet?

  • Hippies are useful.

  • I was in Oakland when we shut down the ports... this is awesome!

  • TY Occupiers!

and TY MOX for keeping us all informed!

  • Why shut down ports?

Do you fancy stabbing yourself in the foot?

What does America produce on its own?

I have no issue with this sort of protest but seriously, pick one that wont come back to haunt you. Shut down a Wall mart or refuse to shop there, or refuse pay tax or your evil credit cards but this is just self defeating until you start producing anything on your own.

  • @chocomalk that was a good statement about shutting down wall mart they are all connected, watch the video (why ocuppy walls st why why why) then you will see why shut down ports! but point taken about wall mart!

  • @487shawn People who work at docks are part of economic equality, but not on the side of the ultra rich. And the goods that are brought in will be suspended, that will negatively effect the economy, as well as businesses big and small.

  • @snipzor please watch the vid i mentioned, you really aren't shutting down much of america's production but are interupting the hugh and unfair trade inbalance from outside the us, please just watch the vid its self explainitory!

  • @snipzor

Wow, I can't believe I agree with you on something lol.

  • @chocomalk Oh no! You're right. Gotta disagree, fast! Apples are better than steaks! There, the natural order is safe.

  • @snipzor

    lmao!

  • @487shawn

Shutting down ports could have more ill effects than you can imagine. Even if they are related.

Not only do you rely on certain necessary items, there is also a third party in this and to snub them also has consequences. You are in effect trying to shut down international trade.

If 10% of the pop refuses to buy anything but American products, it will hurt them, particularly if they have fully stocked shelves from provided by open port.

  • @chocomalk you really need to watch that vid, for every 26 billion brought in of manufactured goods in one port alone from china alone you export 3 billion of raw materials, the protest has to start somewhere!!

  • @487shawn

I understand the chain of events. And I understand why it is not even profitable to outsource because of it.

If you want to stop the export, then you need to be choosey, the companies themselves should be your target. Both sides of this chain need to be fixed but the chain MUST NOT BREAK. The ports themselves are the last place you should concern yourself with, it really should be a last resort.

  • @chocomalk that just it these protest are your last restort, it is that bad, the states only has a few years or many months left if people don't wake up! and as the inbalance continues these port worker who i feel for won't have a job anyway as corporate america has made sure of it, and not followed fords example!

  • @487shawn

If what you say is true, then shutting down trade will not benefit you, it will only limit the amount of resource on your shores.

That is what my point is, purely strategy.

What you are doing is punishing the dock hands and yourselves by proxy. Think of a better way, the last thing you need is to shut down the flow of things. In fact, it is the one thing you should ensure remains.

  • @chocomalk listen i agree, that shutting port down long term is very harmful to the families of the worker, but we are just talking about one day to draw attention to something that the media has refused to talk about, this need to be explored for the sake of america! and i am not american, but canadian and i worry about the states, your in extremely bad position unless you get your democracy back,so are we in canada, but trade with canada is both ways, china one way!

  • @487shawn to draw attention to something? what is that mysterious "something"? Why not just say right away what you want? there is no something, there is nothing but your envy

  • @Armando7654 envy? more like pitty!

  • @487shawn

Well a one day event is fine I guess. I am also Canadian though I lived more than half my life in the US. Trade is always both ways, the problem is that the system itself is set up to transfer wealth, not facilitate trade.

Stopping the flow of goods will do nothing, boycotting and forcing politicians to change the system so that companies do not have to move overseas will. There is no reason products from China are cheaper, even with wages. transport alone nullifies that.

  • @chocomalk no not really the wages are so low that even with the cost of transportation its a quarter of the cost of a modern society, remember china is communist and can do things that other societies can't, although a economist said if oil would stay above 150 dollars a barrel for over a year you would see the resurgence of the rust belt in america! funny isn't it!

  • @487shawn

No dude, transport is a large factor. From raw material to processing, from processing to distribution, from distribution to port, from port to port, from port to facility and then reverse the chain. Meanwhile energy costs, duties, tariffs, taxes, excise fees, surcharges and permits, plus the cost of building an entire new facility.

They were driven off shore, they did not do so because it was something better, it was the only way left. Regulations out of control.

  • @chocomalk what you are saying is correct, i own a small transport company, however the average wage in china is 25 cents a hour, and this greatly offsets the cost, go to pbs and watch wall mart good for america by frontline, in a normal situation you would be absolutly correct, but nothing about the trade with china is normal, even china suppressing its currancy and trying to destablize america by trying to get international countries to go off oil standard for american dollar!

  • @487shawn

As you say, "nothing about the trade with china is normal".

Why do you think this is? It is not only Chinas doing. When all is said and done it "should" be cheaper to do business on your own shore. And China is doing what every other country is doing by currency manipulation. America does this as well. And there is no reason for the dollar hegemony. The rest of the world pays the price for cheap oil in the US.

  • @chocomalk no one is against real trade not unfair trade, the corporate excutives and wall st have sold out the american people for a buck, however if you talk to some economist not bought by wall st as most are, they will tell you China is over rated and face a few speed bumps that could unhinge the whole thing, 1 they have a problem with inovation (creative juices) they can improve something but can't seem to invent it! 2 they are reliant on 8 to 10 percent growth cont.

  • @chocomalk cont if they don't have that growth they become unstable 3 smaller countries in southeast asia ie vietnam etc will take over cheap labour,4 India is the real asian tiger as they are a democracy although messy they still are one and china still has a awakening population who will demand more 5 as there trading partners become weaker the demands on their currency will become to great for them to control thus stagnation and there are several more thats for starters!

  • @chocomalk Your right! Keep everything the way it is right choco. Write a letter to your Senator right choco...Vote in a new President right choco.... Time to wake up and grow up, there are some hard truths to be face here, I government has been hijacked....our income was shut off in 2008... time shut theirs of in 2012. Right choco????????

  • @joecoool100

Hey there, I assume you often assume things. Should I have been more concise? I don't think so.

Are you jumping to conclusions? Yes you are.

I didn't say leave things as they are, I said don't shoot yourself in the foot in the process.

  • @chocomalk And what Im say is......it may be time to "dump the tea into the harbor" or"port". Corporations wont rob this country and have people living in tents without some blowback. When you have nothing, you have nothing to lose.

  • why the ports?! so counter-intuitive... just a low blow to the economy, kicking it when its down

  • @cbeebe007 Because like stock brokers, they have no idea what the hell they're doing, they've just got a vague goal (Protest/Profit) and will jump on any idea that gets them to do so. They need a leader like a stock broker needs context of global economics.

  • @snipzor The port is owned by the banks...

  • @2bRealist All the goods that come in and leave aren't all bank related. You wanna protest the owners, GO TO THE OWNERS! DON'T GO TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE UNIONIZED AND FUCK UP THEIR DAY!

  • Protesting a hub for economic action is not a good idea, go for the banks. Stick to the banks. Leave the trade hubs out of it, they are simply part of the economic cycle that ensures multinational stability and flow of goods.

  • Funny enough, the person who headed this idea happened to be named Koch. Anyone else notice that people with that name tend to be massive assholes?

  • plug the ports, we don't need nor want your cheap imported "goods" !

great job protesters..get to the meat, mess with their money!

  • this isn't how you win over your average American

doing what I saw on another vid, where an occupy group got together to buy items at local stores, THAT'S how you win people over.
