very quick draw, however, you shouldnt keep your hand closer to the holster, I think it's better to practise from a standing still position, with a normal, natural stance, as if you weren't expecting for the moment to present the gun, if you ever have a confrontation in real life the bad guy won't wait for you to pout the hand like that and be prepared, so, I think it's better to practise from a more real life natural position, the seconds you take to draw are crucial in real life
one, you didn't do the complete draw cuz u started with your hand next to the gun, and second of all u reached for the gun before the timer could even start... but good shooting
thought you were supposed to have your hands down beside you. you were half drawn before the beep? Im not a competition guy...thats just what ive seen people do before at ISPC matches
I would say very good. I have been practicing to get better with pistols, but I am still no where ready for anything tactical. Wish someone taught pistol classes around where I live.
Honestly thats good.but nothing spectacular. At least in competition your hands have to be NATURALLY at your sides..His were not. Index shooting at that close of a range is not hard at all. I dont mean to put it down..but it is very easy to do. Perhaps I can show a video soon with me doing it.
I think the hand poised right up on the holster was a little advantageous, but I recognize a .41 sec draw to first shot followed by .19 and .14 second splits far more than just respectable. 'Tis plain fast shootin'.
I want to thank those who have made positive remarks about the shooting. . The pistol I am using is a Glock 17 with a little trigger work to smooth it up and make it lighter. The Holster is a strong side belt holster an askins avenger open top leather holster. The ammo is all factory the cheapest that I can find at the time either win, mag tech or blazzer. Please look at our web page.
um. yea death 541, have you ever tried firing on a target like that from the 7 metre line? His grouping is phenominal for the time it took him to shoot that.
You still slinking around Youtube postin' yer lames smack about other shooters and their vids? Just as you've been challenged when talkin' $#!+ on other posting: post a vid showing you even have a clue as to how to shoot.... waiting
@ferscatlend77 This is why action is always faster than reaction: even accounting for the speed of light, it takes light near half a second to traverse the eye and optic nerve at which point it becomes available data for the brain and central nervous system to react to. I can't find good raw data on how long it takes the brain to process sound, but it certainly can't be any faster, especially since sound itself is so much slower than light.
anyone giving him advice.... lets see your videos.

Not a fan of the practice of reholstering without looking for more threats

TamakoAkai 1 year ago
wow. but isnt that dangerous for such a short distance? you can see the impact of the splitters on the ground..

@chemicaltemptation Todd jarret uses explosive impact rounds, you can use them for close distance practice safely.

Anyone who isn't impressed with the man's speed is either super human or more than likely doesn't do much shooting.

not bad.. but not good if your trying the bill drill you need your hands up by your ears for the start of a bill drill and 6 shots at 7 yards
