The Iranian protester simply wants the Ayatolla to answer to the government...at the moment the government is answering to him. This means that if the revolution would succeed, at least in theory the religious leader would have less power. So, in essence, as an atheist you should support the cause.
Like the iranian protesters give a shit if they have this fat apathetic turd's support or not. People express solidarty with the iranian protesters not out of cynical or meticulous interest but out of empathy and humanity, something this pig ugly fucker has obviously been deprived of through his life.
@LOLWUT58 im sorry i wasnt aware that not agreeing with you made me inhuman. Wow. I mean shit dude maybe they should select you as their new holy leader. Im sure you would love that.
"One of the better examples of why religion should not be allowed"
Sounds more like you don't hate theocracy, you just hate theocracy that isn't *yours*. Sure, there's probably a more appropriate term for state atheism, but I think the way I had framed it best relates the irony.
1: you better watch you'r mouth and don't swear when you talking.
2: put you'r heater on, you look like hiding yourself in the basement. or you may waiting for some oil to be post to you'r door from Iran! than put the heater on!!!!
3: you don't turn the light on?!!! you don't want you'r mom to know you are smoking?
We must get our agents out of Iran, pull the dog Israel off her ankles, and sanction Israel to abide to the same international law we sanction Iran for. but pull Israel back, and back off of Iran, they are changing on their own. It's none of your business
Because the US and Israel continuously threaten Iran, sanctions Iran (the whole time while being an arms, including nuclear, dealer to Iran) was the reason the people wanted protection. Of course they are tired of all this warmongering, and changing on their own. They do not need any involvement from the US, or anyone else.
Dude it starting fighting for the election but fromt the beginning people's slogans were against theocracy and anti islamic government. Please let somebody translate iranian slogans, iranians use also islamic slogans against their theocratic government because they even don't respect some (good) islamic rules. It is all about freedom and democracy, we just want freedom and destroy this government which took the power by support of some western country 30 years ago.
making your channel green is just acting globally democratic. which is a form of mental statism. we have to stop thinking about just Earth. in the universe the imaginary free market god will make everything ok.
However, the protest movement has begun shifting from reformers to revolutionaries. They've started criticizing the Ayatollah and the Islamic Revolution, the more the gov't cracks down the more radical they become.
Also, I think siding with the protesters could backfire. The gov't in Iran has been trying very hard to link the protesters to the West, why make it easier for them?
I like how you approach this rationally unlike others, do more vids on Iran
As a born-Iranian and someone who've lived there for a long, I honestly don't give a fuck about the protests and the people dying. One thing I've learnt reading my country's history is this; it's not fucking worth it.
As for the protests, there is actually more than two sides fighting for "justice"; one side are the Mousavi supporters. There's also the Mujahedins, the University student and the normal people. The can all go fuck themselves.
The real test will come when Khamenei dies, there are lots of rumours that he's not too healthy. Incidentally i have just read that his private jet has been put on standby to fly him out to Russia if the protests get worse.
chris you are amazing! 5 stars mate! very few people are analyzing this situation, and start mirroring vids the moment that hear the word 'democracy' being thrown around without any investigation into what these protestors are calling for..
Protests are getting stronger everyday, I have friends in Iran, they are for a actual revolution not just changing the president.
Anyways, good video mate.

Its obvious their intention is over the (obviously) stolen presidency, but it's not a 'revolution' at all even if Moussavi gets in power.

I don't exacly know what the true intent is.
The 1 thing I do know, Is that when ever anyone want's free, unrigged, elections, then that is worth showing solidarity.
When anyone stands up against Israel, then it is worth showing solidarity.
When the world plays the game of racial hate - I counter that by showing solidarity to the hated.
And, are you trying to tell me your president runs his show? LAWL.
5* for saying how your feel, no matter what I think!
