The megadrive version tried to be exactly like the arcade, which is admirable, but ultimately it sacrificed sound quality for authenticity. The SNES versions are like remixes done specifically to match the SNES's instruments and stuff, so although they're different, the production quality is understandably a lot higher.

Clearly the best version of his stage! Reminds me of playing SF2 Turbo on Snes in the 90's with a cold coke and casually blasting a few Hadoukens while I don't have to think about paying for bills and cars and crap that doesn't matter as much as this!
