@jjrosaria2 Most college students nowadays only listen to lil wayne (or any other lil variety) on a ipod nano that is hooked up to a boombox that has a bass boost feature!
To the guy(s) in the video...very nice system man, fact your in college makes it even more impressive. Don't let those speakers by tainted by having to play any artist that starts with "Lil" or Nicklelback or Creed. Or Daughtry.
Ya, I used it to play wav from a external HD. Worked very well. I now have a proper DAC and a dedicated HTPC with two RAID eSATA towers were all of my CD's are backed up.
is that an Ortofon OM cart you're using? the OM series are fine for their pricepoint, but I think you'd be pleasantly surprised with a cartridge upgrade. your system is worthy of it.
maybe look into the 2M series? a blue or bronze would be stellar on that Music Hall.
Yes it is. A great entry level turntable. I have modified it so the tonearm cabling is feed directly to the phono-stage behind it. I find that removing the RCA cables is a big plus in sound quality!
Cool. That would make a difference in sound (unlike having it go through several cables) I checked out that model (which appears to be the MMF 7.1) at an audio retailer once, and I must say I was blown away. It is well priced (unlike a Linn Sondek, VPI, and such) and the sound I heard was great. Thanks for letting me know.
