Bandaranayake ruined a beautiful stable country. CGR was a great institution under a general manager called Rampala. There after politicians started appointing their brainless henchmen, they ruined the railways.

Chandrika was another vampire who sucked the blood out of Srilankans.

Sri lankan trains move only at 20Kmph due to ancient tracks. It is hot, stuffy and loud in the cab. Hence to open doors. A trip to Badulla takes over 10 hours to travel 140 miles.
