Why do people think it's racist for African-American actors to play "bad guys". It's just a video. It takes place in a predominately African-American city (Chicago). Does anyone look at it from the point of view that they hired African-American actors to perform in a Korean artist's music video? Was it wrong for them to hire them? Are African-Americans only allowed to play positive roles in videos and movies? Wouldn't that limit their employement opportunities in the film industry?
@Noman0069 they probably have a problem with it reinforcing negative stereotypes in a country where they don't have any positive visuals. :/ This makes me fairly uncomfortable just like the scene in the Jdrama HYD when the black guys harassed Makiono. If they are only being hired for negative spots then I do not care if it's limiting. Just like I think if Asian woman are only hired to play the part of sex dolls, it's not worth it.

this is just an aside, but plastic surgery is NOT for everyone. do u think if everyone gets plastic surgery, theyll all look spectacular and hot? HA! think lucy liu getting the double eye lid surgery. NO way, her eyes are so small and slit it will have lil effect on her. so only those girls who naturally have a good face substructure will benefit greatly from surgery. geesh....

Koreans do have a problem with racism that should be recognised if its gonna be overcome. but non koreans should know that its mainly due to ignorance, koreans mostly just see black guys as portrayed by hollywood, which is unfortunately mostly with a gun in their hand etc. not that thats an excuse. koreans should rise above the ignorance.
