@zillis im friends with him... he got t-boned by a truck. and the firehawk.... he turbo charged it dynoed around 900rwhp then he sold it a few years ago. now he has a jeep that he procharged with nitrous whole bottem end. runs 11sec i thiiink not to sure
I had one but sold it unfortunately. My engine block was stamped 1160...LS-6. The guy who traded it in on a new Z-06 installed a nice SLP performance package in it with a Loudmouth, lowering kit and air box...all the goodies. I drove it as a daily driver for 3 yrs. I strapped my kids into the back seat and used the car as a "soccer-mom-mini-van". I put groceries in the back. I love the WS6...a Corvette with a back seat.
the spirit u get from a trans am aspecially the type from a collectors edition is nowhere near what u get from a vette...its just diffrent pulling up in a trans am than in a vette and plus it maybe fun ina vette dont get me wrong they pull like monsters but its the spirit of the ta that keeps it alive.
I have a Trans Am 99, I prefer it over a vette. more room, can fit 4,never did, & I prefer the lines over the vette. With the rear sead down it's nice. Like a big two seater. To me, notice I said to me, I prefer the lines on the T/A, much hotter looking car. I had a 96 vette. traded it in for the T/A. Still have the T/A. Glad the vette is gone. The T/A turns more heads than the vette ever did. Better ride too. But that's one man's opinion. Yours may differ.

Perhaps you are thinking of CUSTOMIZED - which is when you make it look all different.
And the decals are from the factory, by the way. They aren't part of the modification :)

it said you had an airbox modification? did you just block off the baffles or what? most people get a lid before they do anything else. its only about 90 bucks but if you were trying to keep the motor looking stock then i understand. most people wont know the different intake and heads.

dude, traded a black 98 firebird 89,000 miles for a black 98 TA 95,000 miles in 07 The firebird was in better shape mechanically except for a tranny code when running hard on the highway for a while. Little better paint on the TA, put a small amount of work into it and now is nicer than the firebird. Cost me 2800 to do the trade, well worth it. Find one and if the v6 is in good shape it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg.

dude, traded a black 98 firebird 89,000 miles for a black 98 TA 95,000 miles in 07 The firebird was in better shape mechanically except for a tranny code when running hard on the highway for a while. Little better paint on the TA, put a small amount of work into it and now is nicer than the firebird. Cost me 2800 to do the trade, well worth it. Find one and if the v6 is in good shape it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg.

the guy totally has his info jacked up. i have one of these c.e.t.a. they all came stock with the Z06 intake all 01 -02 f-bodys anyway. they made 496 auto convt 506 auto t-tops & the rest of the 2390 c.e.t.a were 6-speeds.

I have only seen 4 of these in my life (2 vert 2 t top)... I absolutely love these and If I had one I would keep it stock although it would be hard with all the toys out there you could mod it with.... Id totally want to max this out and keep it street legal. Awesome bird.
