  • I find things at goodwill all the time but I don't have a proper thrift store out in my area, I do have a swap meet but I rarely find anything at it at all most of the time

  • The switch on the PAR is just a bypass. When switched off, the PSX will boot as if the PAR weren't attached at all. The port in the back connects to the PC-Comms card (an ISA card you could install in your PC). It was common to flash the PAR or GameShark with a custom firmware called "Caetla". Caetla combined with the PC-Comms card allowed you to save memory card data to your PC, and upload compiled PSX executables into RAM without burning them to a CD. It also had the PAR cheat functions!

  • dude that was a great deal on those golden sun games they are worth a pretty penny complete so congrats on getting your hands on those also love the genesis games and im still on the hunt to collect them all.
