  • I cried today when i heard about doyle dieded. so sad news that he played his final hand. RIP doyle he make the death. derp.

  • played patrick, now fuck off and play some solitaire

  • what you shoving with patrick?? exactly, fuck all. silly bet and how could you make it? ;)

  • dont fuck with big pappa!

  • RIP DOYLE I SAY

  • Brunson had balls to call that bet but far out that other made a dumbass move going all in especially when he was only going to win the blind.

  • Rip doyle

  • HIS IS NOT DEAD

  • Good call by Brunson. But not amazing. He's ahead against all hands that are not pocketpairs. With only 3 players left at the table the ranges get really loose. Antonius as the chipleader can push it with almost any two. That makes Brunson's call nearly standard.

  • dale bruinswick

  • RIP TX Dolly. You're a legend.

  • @Spindlework he's not dead

  • i love doyle brunson!! all time great!

  • lol antonius got a lot better when he shaved his head

  • wat a dumbass, why would you go all in for those cards. Doyle, ur a legend.

  • ahahaha Antonius idiot who goes all-in with these cards?

  • @IceeMan100

Idiot? That idiot has made 3,2 millions from tournaments!

  • BIG PAPA

  • ahahahhaha legend

  • and what have we learned today folks? DONT FUCK WITH BIG DADDY BRUNSON

  • pokerview is open to us players as well

  • LEGEND!!!

  • DONT FUCK WITH BOYLE

  • Todd Brunson @ 2:32

  • i remember doyle said this was the year he felt he had something to prove coming off of his first losing year ever, watch out when a living legend feels he's got something to prove. I know he won at least one wpt title that year.

  • Patrik is such an arrogant young kid in this vid. It's so obvious he's new and inexperienced here, criticising other people's play and celebrating etc. Today, Patrik is the perfect example of professionalism at the poker table.

  • RIP Doyle Brunson you will never be forgotten... trulyu one of the greatest derp de derp. DID HE DIED.

  • Wups I misjudged on that one. Forget my earlier comment :-)

  • I hate trying to judge on plays on YouTube, yet I can't resist saying Antonius had more than 25 Big Blinds left and I think it was reckless from both sides.

  • bronson is the best!

  • @martinb1337 brunsons pretty good aswell

  • @martinb1337 brunsons pretty good aswell

  • i hate how ppl comments on these poker vid what played should've done, but the fact is that they are on TV putting million dollars on the table and ur sitting on some lil pokerbullshitdotcom playing with your 50$, so believe me they know what they are doing

  • @0l1mpuz Its just happens that the best player in the world is playing their way on youtube ... The tournament is too easy for them ...

  • I think Patrik thought he won at 2:23

  • before i saw this i always though patrik was a very composured guy. I guess he wasn't always like that.

  • Patrik is a lot more respectful now that he was back in the day

  • "How can you make that bet?"

WTF @ Doyle this is the most standard shove vs Doyle's stacksize...standard play by Antonius...

Doyle should have open shoved instead of limp/calling with 33 ...

  • that's poker, and Doyle's great experience and reading abilities

  • Patrik looks weird with hair.

  • 6 people thought they were playing solitaire.

  • Just for the record, calling an all-in with a low pair always puts you in front except if the other one has a bigger pair.Just saying.Right call!!

  • @sonybiker its actually wrong to make calls with a low pair, its ok to raise all in with a low pair but not to call.

  • @jonjescabar Ya but sometimes you don't get all the hands you want so you work with what you have.

  • lol Patrik showing emotions... o.O

  • this is such an unreal terrible limp by Doyle and the call is even worse rofl

  • @neighborhoodgasman But he won.

  • :40

    HA! Picked you off.

  • WOW. Its weired seeing patrik annoyed, he's usually quiet.

  • we're playing poker not solitaire

    EPIC WIN FROM TEXAS DOLLY

  • u call with pocket thress? epic

  • Doyle is Best

  • doyle is the shit

  • patrick with hair O.o

  • doyle did not pick up a tell on patrik.it was the 3rd or 4th time in a row that patrik tried to run over doyle.thats it.

  • lol, yeah right Doyle picked up a tell that PA had either a 2 or 3 in his hand. Come on, do you play poker? Doyle was just fed up.

  • I loved that clap in the end from patrik, like "yeah i won! ace kicker!.....oh wait he made a full boat.."

  • I'm drunk after a bachlor party and I watched this. all i got to say is doyle is the shit!

  • somethings wrong here

  • Doyle picked up a tell from Antonius that he was weak, and that Antonius was bullying the table. If Doyle's read made him CERTAIN that Antonius didn't have a pair, then Doyle knew he was either up against two high cards (with odds from even to 54-46 in Doyle's favor), or a weak hand that Doyle has middle-paired (A2, K2s, J2s etc.) or dominated (A3, K3, 53s, etc.). Against the high-2, Doyle is 68-31 ahead; against high-3, Doyle is around 66-31. So, given his read, Doyle made a great play.

  • @leopoldmozart ur right man. anyone who shoves rapidly is getting desperate and shoving with respectable but not excellent shit. it was an easy read, gifted by patrick. 68-31, bad chances to be forcing a shove with ace deuce! justice was done by the board

  • who wins the tourney???

  • dont mess with the u.s.

  • @GokuGreg2001 don't mess with doyle fool....

  • Lol Doyle always has something smart to say. he don't play games either

  • inspirational

  • wow antonious went from being basically a wanker to a legend in the last few years

  • OMFG I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DOYLE "you saying how can i make that call....how can you make that bet" HAHAHHAHAHA pure genious ;) and thats why he is so awesome

  • hahah,,, how could i make that call? how could you make that bet? hahahha legend!

  • what a moron this patrik guy...he thought he won..doyle made his full and he thought he won... hhehehhee

  • @Disgustipat3d moron? patrick antonius? are you fucking retarded?

  • @Disgustipat3d Patrick Antonius, one of the best cash players of the world

  • @Disgustipat3d

yet he wins millions while i eat out of garbage cans

  • i know everyone says you play the man in poker, which is true in alot of cases. but this just proves that its not just about 'playing the man' and doing all the 'right moves' its also about luck. its gambling. if you are just going to 'grind it out' you aint gambling. Doyle Brunson is gambling here.

  • @norhamdan1985 u cant just 'grind it out' in tournaments u need some luck as well, and yes this means u hav to gamble

  • wow fucking owned antonius ''were not playing solitary''

  • solitaire. not solitary. wow.

  • typo big fucking deal

  • "he only needs any Ace or any Tens". how would those cards let patrik win? i mean, i understand why he needs ace, but why does he need 10?

  • @wegaengine1

With two tens and two nines (or two sixes and two nines) on the board, Brunson's pair of threes would have become worthless. In that case Antonius would have had the better kicker.

  • Then antonoius has higher 2 pair lol.. learn the pokers

    TT99A kicker beats TT99 3 kicker

  • @wegaengine1 The ten (or 6) voids brunson's pair, bc there would be 2 better pairs on play, thus giving pat the better kicker

  • go read a poker book

  • We re playing poker not solitaire, Dolly is a king

  • FUK YEH! THA KING!

  • this hand is classic, one of my favorites

  • Suck shit Antonius. Doyle is the king, deal with it and stop crying.

  • @ImperialUSA

    who said any different?

patrik became a great player u gotta give him credit! but no discussion that doyle is number 1

  • @aary1989

No doubt he's a great player, but the young whippersnapper should have more respect. As I say, Doyle's the king!

  • Patrik looks weird with hair...

  • Doyle "we're playing poker not solitaire" lol

  • no u morons the chance of getting outdrawn with such a small pair is way too big for limp-calling becouse even if ur opponent had like TJs and made the same move u would be flipping but if u shove there's no way they can call u and u win the blinds and antes no contest which is much much better than riskin ur whole stack on a flip/in worse case ur a big dog. again i appereciate doyle and he's on a different level than any of us but his play here is bad and incorrect chip wise.

  • hahaha tell him straight! that is so true and a very very under-rated/used statement in poker... all you ever hear is how can u call with that!!! ... how can you make that bet?? haha what a guy! doyle brunson is a legend!

  • ya, he called when he was a 68% favorite, what a bad call.

  • lol it's the result oriented idiots like u that tilt me so bad. hope u'll realize one day

  • short stacked with just over 10 X the bb, 3 way action against a loose player with a pocket pair. He figured for a coin flip, he's ahead either way. Only way he can figure he's done for is if the other guy has a higher pocket pair, unlikely in 3 way action. Anyway you look at it, its the right call.

  • he should'nt even be in that situation in the first place, the 100% right move is to move in himself with that low chips. limp-calling isn't nearly as good as moving in himself

  • Normally I'd agree with toimiporsas but there could be some reasoning behind Doyle's limp-call. Of course I'd shove myself for fold equity but perhaps limp-calling gave Doyle the opportunity to get more of a read on Antonius' hand. That's way out of my league and I only play online, but who can say for sure. Perhaps I'm giving Doyle too much credit, but I kind of doubt that such an experienced pro would make what would normally be a poor play (calling with a mediocre hand) without some planning.

  • You should probably just get in touch with doyle and give him lessons.

  • i just cant see how its a bad call... 3 way with ANY pockets is a monster hand. im sure doyle wanted some action and he doesnt want to scare the action away. limping in was the best move so he could see what the player next to him does and see where he stands.

if Antonius only called, and put a bet out on the flop, im sure doyle would have folded. instead he went all in so it would go to a showdown. you actually need cards to hit in a showdown. A2o is only good against KQ etc if both dont hit

  • "you actually need cards to hit in a showdown"

great argument, consindering you're chance of hitting a card is 50% ...

pocket 3s is never a 'monster', you're never better than flipping. Even against the pushing Range of a loose player you're usually about 5% behind.

  • to make it clear, even against any2 you're only 54:46. So how it is a monster? Against a semi-tight player you're usually about 38:62. The only reason to ever call an all in push pocket 3s is pot odds.

  • its 3 handed man. 33 is a monster

  • You're never better than flipping? Oh I believe he's better than flipping against A2 isn't he? And he was, sucks for you.

  • You really understand handrange. Are you a little stupid or something?

  • i agree with you entirely toimiporsas, but i also heard the guy say antonius had been pushing him around lately. i guess he just chose to make a stand, and i reckon doyle musta been ecstatic inside to see that 2 hahah

  • but also i think going all in with a2 when the other guy has 2/3 of your stack is perhaps even more crazy, but perhaps he thought doyle would out play him on the flop

  • Doyle Brunson is quickly becoming one of my favorite players. I like his class, he doesn't talk the bird but when someone does he fires it right back at them with something great like "we are playing poker not solitaire."

  • this aint solitaire, this is Poker!

  • He went all in cause hes scared to play a pot with Doyle

  • yes i agree , you are right bro

    doyele for ever

  • must've been when Patrik meets Doyle for the first times, and in the beginning of Patrik's carreer, he doesn't say much anymore now...

  • haha, pwnd

  • - "How can you make that call?"

    - "You say how can I make that call?... How can you make that bet?" epic

  • We ain't playin' solitaire!

  • yes just complete domination by bg papa i love him

  • And the perfect answer to an exceedingly stupid question.

  • @nayoxz That was such an awesome comeback! Hahahaa.

  • Well his M was 8, that's viable push/fold territory especially short handed. Plus it nullifies his positional disadvantage.

  • pushing 30bb wtf is this

  • Patrik Antonius sounds like Bruno!

  • who is bruno?

  • awesomeness

  • We're playing poker, not solitaire.

  • Patrik Antonius, you gotta watch and learn from the poker legend....

  • owned.....we playing poker not solitaire.

  • Patrik said he was drunk during that final table

  • he's pretty shit then to get drunk

  • gay european accent: "how can ze make zat call?!"

doyle brunson: "how could you make that bet!"

    classic

  • rofl, so non american accents are gay?

beeing an american rascist is a sign of another amercan dumbfuck

  • when PA was young and nieve

  • we're playing poker not solitaire

    a real legend

  • i love it... doyle putting that guy in his place, how could he make that call, how u could u make that bet... like a guy bluffing all his chips on the end, and a better player calling him with a horrible hand, and idiots saying... how could he call me, not anotonius but generally those people that say that

  • pretty intense river card. Doyle was happy to see that 2 also heheh you can see his eyes get all big when he saw it.

  • LoL - He's not dead you turkey.

  • Fuck off.

  • we're playing poker, not solitaire.

    what a line. Legend.

  • as soon as i heard that line i said what a legend haha

  • this was when patrik was a kid lol

  • hold could u make tht bet, we're not playin solitare lolol doyle ftw

  • "We don't stop playing cause we get older,

We get older cause we stop playing!"

  • that was an excellent call. Only 3 guys left a pair is pretty good but he figured he was against an ace and antonios was just trying to steal the pot. Doyle taught him a lesson don't push me out of a pot or all call you sooner or later. More of a pychological call to win the pot but also frustrate antonios. Either way antonios shouldn't of went all in against a great player like that thats not a novice player.

  • How could you make that bet? We're not playing solitaire. Doyle told him to screw in a very classy way. Go Doyle!

How many times does he have to listen to the kid question his poker skills?

  • The problem with watching just one hand on youtube is that you don't see all the previous hands. Both players would be using this time to form reads. My interpretation was that Doyle was seeing alot of loose raises ands decided eventually to call such a raise with any pocket pair when the moment came up. Tactically, it was a double up or go home type of play. I must admit, I might have been more comfortable pushing with a higher pocket pair. I think Doyles play was valid.

  • Der Solariumgebräunte kamm e voll arrogant rueber kack n4p -> gut gemacht Doyle Brunson !!!

  • Doyle is King!!!!

  • Not really. Any pair is good heads up. Doyle probably made a good read and put him on any ace. Which is a coinflip. But he ended up getting better than a coin flip. Not a bad call at all.

  • took his chips and pwned wit the answer in the end!! there you go, sweet

  • he called him with pocket trees?

  • LOLL..

How could you make that call?

How could I make that call you say? How could you make that bet?

    Classic...!

  • were not playing solitaire!

    great!

  • "We're playing poker, not solitaire."

    awsome!!!

  • When was this tournament?

  • antonious a rookie??? do you have any fuckin clue wot so ever

  • Doyle's a cowboy.

  • An embarrassing statement.

Doyle plays and wins in the biggest games in the world sucker.

    "We're playing poker, not solitaire."

  • yeah you really know everything about poker.

    patrik is no rookie.

he is one of the best players in the world if not the best

  • you apparently dont know much about poker if you think he is even possibly the best poker player in the world

  • he actually is one of the best cash game players in the world, get over it. there are other excellent players and not just doyle brunson.
