I adore Phoebe, and this is a really creative interpretation of the scene! Very comical and light. In every other version I've seen, it's been heavy hearted and sad, like... "how about you moritz....stil in school?" like she cared a lot- and she still cares a lot here, but it's a funnier mood. Anyway. Love it.

if I couldd marry any celebrity it wudnt even be a competition. jgj is AMAZING. he brings something so special to this character it's indescribable. I didnt even see the show live I just saw it on youtube and he STILL blew me away and made me bawl at this scene. his acting skills are soooo incredible, not to mention his ridiculously amazing voice. this video is crazy!

I love JGJ, but I don't hate the others. I sometimes prefer them vocally, because I know that the Moritz of the touring cast had this wonderful nasal quality that I normally don't like, but fit Moritz really well. But that's just me *shrugs*

I'm not so sure about Phoebe, her voice is gorgeous, but I'm not so fond of the beginning of her monologue.

I completely agree with you. I've just discovered Spring Awakening and I've heard the OBC version of this. And it made me want to them them acting it out, and I came across this. And it was love at first listen. Her voice is so sweet and angelic. And love how she makes the character so free and innocent. I also like how she says "If they can't stick you with one thing, they'll try another."
