How much is this machine now in USD? The antari is now 150, but I don't know about this one. What makes this better than others is the fact that (I believe) it has a fan inside, where many store-brand low foggers do not. If the fog is forced through the ice, tit spreads out more and appears as if there is more fog.
Not sure how much they are in usd but i will have a look. The one problem i have just found out(after the heater stopped working) is there are no spares on the market for this machine. To all that are looking at spending out on a low fogger PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE cheak you can get the replacement parts. Im at the moment looking for a universal spare for my machine great fun not.
just a question im having a party and i wanna have fog in the place but its a big party place but one thing i dont want the fog to rise just have to stay on the floor so what do you recommend or does your fog machine keep the fog on the floor???
I found that the fog machines works well at first but it will rise due to the fog warming and people walking in it and i have not found a way to keep it down for good. The last party i had i put the fogger up stairs. The fog rolles down the stairs really well and then rises back up. The good thing with this is you get a great effect down stairs and clears quick turning the upstars into a mad dance floor a strob and laser light really kicks it off. I picked up the same fogger at a 2nd hand band gig shop for $80, it needed a new pump and that anouther 80. so 160 said and done,, and we used it for halloween this year... it was fantastic. 100% dry ice 2 5lbs blocks.. love it.
How much was that machine? Heres a tip, buy special fog fluid designed for fog machines with a built in chiller (like you do) and put ice and 1/3 dry ice. It will work soo much better!
As i have got it for house partys i found out that setting the unit upstairs works well. The fog rolles down stairs and looks fab falling. after a few min it rises due to people walking in it and heat change. it then goes back up stairs leaving the downstairs party and guests smoke free till the next dump of fog. All the smoke that rises turns the upstiars into a cool dance floor using a cheap strobe light. Just leave a window or 2 open so the room gets chance to clear from time to time.

But yes you are right the fog will rise but can be sorted in a way that still make it a cool thing to have at any party.
