Bronson made so much money on Cannon Films it was obscene, but then again, they weren't expensive to make and they made money, so it follows that he should get a nice paycheck. He was never a great actor but he was all right. Then, he just kind of gave his career to films with simple plots, bad dialog and excessive violence. He just kind of sold out. It's not a criticism, just a fact.

It's cool the way they keep the footage rolling as the credits come up, & you see the emergency vehicles responding one after another. Kinda keeps the action going even though the movie is basically over. I like seeing those good old NYPD blue police cars from the 80s! So much cooler looking than the weird looking white cars the NYPD uses these days. I only wish the cops in the movie were using the "manual yelp" siren, instead of the regular sirens which were rarely ever used in real life.

And guess who sued the banks on behalf of ACORN in order to get the loans? Yep, Obama. For years I always thought the last 20minutes of the movie was very unrealistic. An entire gang vs. Charles Bronson and his neighbors, with only 3 or 4 police cars responding. I found it hard to believe that this gang was destroying the whole neighborhood and killing people, while there was virtually no police response. Then... I saw the REAL footage of the LA riots in the 90s. You see massive rioting & chaos and NO cops in sight! So, perhaps this movie wasn't so unrealistic afterall??

For years I always thought the last 20minutes of the movie was very unrealistic. An entire gang vs. Charles Bronson and his neighbors, with only 3 or 4 police cars responding. I found it hard to believe that this gang was destroying the whole neighborhood and killing people, while there was virtually no police response. Then... I saw the REAL footage of the LA riots in the 90s. You see massive rioting & chaos and NO cops in sight! So, perhaps this movie wasn't so unrealistic afterall??
