Some of Kelly's stuff is actually pretty deep... Especially on My December. Although overall Alanis is definitely more of an artist, but Kelly is definitely the better vocalist. There are plenty of videos out there showing her vocal range, just type "Kelly clarkson high notes" or something. But her tone is nicer to listen to as well compared to Alanis in my opinion. I mean, Kelly can really sing anything and make it sound good, while Alanis writes material tailored for herself.
