  • Weird, I also Remember riding the M1s in 2000 I thought they took it away in 1999 along with the H1 ?

  • I miss those H1s with the blue seats!, all what we have now are the h4s that are the closest thing to it.

  • @cumberj001 Yea! That blue colour felt like it was a different place. The seats were super cushy too, and fans extra loud.

The days when it was a mystery what subway you were going to get, and when they actually mixed up the carts on the train.

  • @at1212b Yup! The H-1s were my first Subway Ride in 1999 (Yrs Old) now i'm 15. It felt really cool even though it was really old i never wanted it to retire. They should of Done the same the BD line see H-4s, H-6s and T-1s. And yeah on the Yellow all i get are H-5s and T-1s. True back in 99'-00 you never knew what was coming. I usually got a H-2 at Kennedy Station with the odd Blue H-1 that i get it, Good times !

  • These are very nice pictures u put here. However, the song is quite bizzare, but cool!!

  • The song is called "The Toronto Subway Song" and was recorded in, I think, 1953, by the Ozzie Williams Band, sung by Betty Carr and Charles Baldour. It was written to commemorate the new subway line on Yonge Street.
