  • Pass the Kleenex, please...

  • Jolie vidéo et très belle voix...merci!

  • fierce!

  • I just can't get over this. Just incredible. Can you imagine someone doing this on x factor or AGT?

  • Dionne at the very, very tip top of her game! Anyone got a Kleenex?

  • this is insane!!!!! I've played this video over & over again for hundred times. Dionne's voice and the way she sang this really hit you in the heart! You feel so much emotion here. I wept when I first heard it yet I dont mind playing this again. Perfect!!! Along with Stevie Wonder's original version, this is the most excellent version of this song. Love you Dionne for bringing this version to life!

  • Speechless.

  • A great artist.

  • I love this voice.Just Perfect!!

  • since I heard her version, I keep coming back... I wake up hearing this

  • She delivered. This song is a lyrical masterpiece written by Mr. Stevie Wonder.

  • Listened to them all and this is the best version by far!

  • Great music transcends entertainment. In this song, she's singing the pain in her heart.

  • She is Whitney Houston's cousin. That's who Whitney parlayed her vocals after as a youngster. She used to follow Dionne on tour in her teens. Their use of the mic and even the curtsey at the end of each concert/performance is identical too.

  • oh my God this is really really really wonderful!.....

  • Amazing performance. This is what I wish were in the media today instead of 500 channels of cursing, swearing, butt shaking, slutty trash.

  • O...M...G. This is incredible. The sadness in the voice, the storytelling, those NOTES. I have never seen a performance the that in my life. I sing as a hobby...her stage presence is one in a million.

  • One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. The depth in her voice really brought this song to life.

  • Exceptional! Dionne!

  • Oh girl you deserved a long standing ovation for this performance

  • Oh girl you deserved a long standing ovation for this performance

  • @mikesterSTLMO - I think you need a hug...or something. (Talkingducksrgreat) said he's lonely, he might be able to assist you with that.

  • Dionne took it home. Beautiful melancholy. A triumph of dramatic tension in story telling.

  • One of the greats and i love her so...... every song she makes her own and every word brings tears to my eyes with the feeling she puts in this wonderful song. Thank you.

  • This is skill, interpretation, performance. DIVA. They throw that word around too often these days, but there are only a few real ones. Dionne is counted among them.

  • BRAVO!!

  • This is, hands-down, the most amazing performance I've ever seen/heard. I just discovered this song. I am blown away.

  • so beautiful!!!

  • A beautiful interpretation. Sadly, you can already here the damage done to the instrument by her cigarette smoking.

  • How could anyone DISLIKE this? This is so so very shocking to me! I never realized Dionne had such a voice! I know of her status and history in the biz...I sorta put her along side La Streisand in music as far as her work and catalog go...and it was Streisand's recording of this that I always found so magical and classic, but this has taken the cake for me! Just WOW! I guess me growing up in the 80s, I only knew of her as "psychic lady"... WOW I have some research to do!! Love Love Love THIS!

  • Truly one of the most amazing songs by Stevie, and beautifully sung by Dionne.

  • @kimmie6209 good now you can go back to sleep.

  • Master Class... not really intended to compare this with newer renditions of this song but this is timeless and unforgettable... It's relatively slow but in the same time this tempo gives it a lot of special moments IMO...

  • that was a slow train but it got me there!

  • how does she do it?

be both strong and yet just breezy in her delivery of this song?

i now know why some singers are just called "GIFTED".

  • Dionne never forced a song in her life....it comes natural and easy and anyone that thinks different needs to relisten and keep his thoughts to himself and enjoy one of the best singers that ever lived.

  • I am a huge Stevie fan. Normally stevies cover doesn't add much new value. But here this song has a beautifull more delicate arrangement, and the song is clearly song with a lot of depth of emotion. If face expressions count for something, then this is more then a classic. She adjusted the lyrics a little, probably to cover things around her divorce and settlement issues in that time. (the winner must be paid, instead of the loosing side i play)

  • Amazing.

  • Jeeesh, another forced, and just loud performance by one of the most over rated singers in entertainment history. Only Warwick could make Stevie Wonder's hauntingly beautiful All in Love is Fair sound horrible.

  • Thank You for sharing this amazing performace with us!!Thanks to you and Thank You Dionne!!

  • If I could do I'd click on the like button a 1000 times as I watch it everytime

  • Oh my sweet DAMN! She sang the sh*t out of this song! I never heard this arrangement before. It's sooo beautiful!!

  • This is masterful! She may be difficult on Celebrity Apprentice, but here, she is CEO baby!

  • She made it personal. Incredibly good.

  • Stunning, a master of her craft, such a magnificent voice full of feeling. The wonderful, fantastic Dionne Warwick.

  • An amazing song, brilliantly performed...the sweetness and sadness in her voice is almost overwhelming.

  • I hear the hurt in her voice...

  • career defining performance if you ask me

  • i love how she tilts the microphone away from her and she STILL sounds powerful and crystal clear Lolol

  • Just speechless....

  • i love dionne !!!

  • wat did she say at 3:36-3:46?

  • @josh23231r she said "the winter must prepare, but all in love is fair!".... all hail queen dionne!

  • @josh23231r

I believe she said "the winner must be paid".

  • angak hoo..

  • Nunca haverá uma interprete como Mrs Dione.Ela esta no patamar de mito é uma musa inspiradora.God keep on his voice, Lady.Thank you because you like the brazilian's ´people.

  • A VIDEO FOR ANNA - by Tom Hough / SPAR WLB-403

    Copy & Paste,thanks

  • I always knew that Dionne was blessed with a beautiful voice, but I never knew she could SANG like this.

  • Amazing, best performance of this song I've ever heard, and like devonpoe states below, I didn't know she could blow like this either,,,, thanks for this post!!!!

  • i honestly didnt know she could blow like this, wow, now im going to be looking at her clips all day

  • pure luv!

  • Cecilio & Kapono did acover of this song and it IS THE BEST VERSION.... of ALL the versions SOMEONE put it on youtube....!

  • Cecilio & Kapono did acover of this song and it IS THE BEST VERSION.... fo ALL the versions SOMEONE put it on youtube....!

  • A torrent of emotions that she totally controls while we travel with her on this broken love affair.

  • i cant stop listening!!!

  • @talkingducksrgreat I know the feeling Dionne has a way of just drawing you into what she does, it's hard not to keep from wanting to hear this over and over.

  • I've always loved this song and had only known it by Barbra Streisand. Dionne does a great job with it too!

  • She was feeling this one, I believe this is the year she divorced... But Dionne is truly a singers singer, who studied music, in addition to having strong roots in Gospel. I loved this one.

  • Genildo!!! Parabens!!! O maximo esse video!!! Estou sharing com Deus e o mundo! Obrigada!

  • Genildo!!! Parabens!!! O maximo esse video!!! Estou sharing com Deus e o mundo! Obrigada!

  • Just shows that even the finest songs do not sing themselves. You can think you sing this pretty good in the shower then you hear someone like this who takes her given talent and does the hard work of making the it live. Thanks to Geni...for posting.

  • after thirty three years of my lonely homosexual existence its nice to know the universe can still surprise me but does she have any other songs that she sings like this? the video footage itself is so iconic with the hair like that and the dark background. im not tryin to find the way to san jose but if anyone knows any other numbers where she sings and is pretty like this then please turn a brother on!

  • @talkingducksrgreat check out the video of Dionne singing "finders of lost love" from the UK.

  • @talkingducksrgreat Try her Version of "Whats it's all About Alfie" on here a Masterclass !!

  • the best.!!!

  • wow

  • SING Dionne!!!!!!!!

  • whats amazes me so much about her is how she starts off so low and mellow and then goes soaring towards the middle of the song and makes it look so effortless....fantastic

  • @traboe YES......Dionne has a remarkable range i love her.....soooo much

  • i see so much of Dionne in Whitney

  • This is what I call, broke the mold talent....her unique voice is never mistaken...she looks really pretty here too. I always remembered her with short hair. What a talented family....of course Whitney good that best of the vocal chops.

  • I don't usually listen to music like this but there's something so compelling about her interpretation of the song. She sounds mature like she's drawing from real life experiences.

  • I love Stevie Wonder, but there is something about the raw emotion Dione displays, she can cover a song like no other.

  • All I can say is wow!

  • Was never a fan of the Psychic Friends host (since busted for fraud and drug possession), but I'll give her props on this one. My problem with Warwick was that she could be really good and really bad within the same song; no consistency whatsoever. The more she struggles, the bigger her nostrils get.

  • @mikesterSTLMO LIke BABS?

  • @nanenoah Babs has a prominent schnoz, but you could put quarters in crackhead couzin' Warwick's nostrils. Big difference.

  • @mikesterSTLMO One wonders why if Dionne nose upsets you so you still run and post the same comments I have seen you say the same thing on several videos. Dr.Phil?

  • what a song! stevie "the" genius! and very well done by dionne warwick

  • OMG!! 3:55

  • IMPECÁVEL!!!!

  • Wonderful....thanks for posting.

  • Love it, very painful rendition. She's managed to get the emotion down while still delivering a spotless and powerful vocals *Five stars* Being 15 years old, I wish we had more people like Dionne these days...

  • @cristalfur i get you

  • i was only a few months old when dionne sung this beautiful ballad

  • @ICANDIGUOUT I was born the very next day after this

  • Noone is like her now or ever. every word was as if she were making them up as she went. love Dionne!

  • She is one of the greatest singers of all time.

  • simply fabulous. i love you dionne

  • Amei a interpretação desta musica um verdadeiro hino de amor

  • Too much pain.........

  • She didn't sing that but SANG that!

  • renee goldsberrys version is gr8 also

  • THIS IS A SINGERS SINGER

  • marvellous ... I'm stunned by the beauty of the song and Dionne's unique voice at that time ...

  • wow is right...she killed that power part toward the end...wow

  • WOW

  • NOw she was singing

  • Dionne' s version is a gem, really. But Stevie should not be overlooked. He did not only sang this but also penned this.

  • forever DIONNE WARWICK! GOD BLESS!

  • I love this song it conquors all other remakes of this, and i love Stevie but this is sounding so much better than the original. the was she tells the story is amazing.

  • The best version.

    Best arrangement.

    Better than the original.

    Best voice.

I cry everytime I watch it.

  • Oh God

She has the best version of this song.

    Great arrangement.

I am in tears everytime I see her sing it.

  • MAGICAL performance:)

  • STUNNING performance!

    Thanks for posting.

  • @TheReturnOfStephan1 thank YOU for sharing!!!!

  • @TheReturnOfStephan1 yes this was and i love your username lol, we have the same name. mine is pronounced stef-fin or stef-fan.

  • @ICANDIGUOUT

    LOL!

I had to use this one, primarily because psychotic haters began creating false accounts with numbered versions of my previous username, StephanAOTTO1.:)

  • @TheReturnOfStephan1 gotcha...crazy shit lol!

  • The best live performance on youtube...unbeleivable

  • From wikipedia:

"Dionne Warwick married actor and drummer William Elliott. In 1966 and the couple divorced in May 1967 after being wed for less than a year. They reconciled and were remarried in Milan, Italy, in August 1967 according to Time Magazine. Warwick has stated in many interviews that "It was a case of can't do with, can't do without, so I married him again." On May 30, 1975, the couple separated and Warwick was granted a divorce in December 1975 in Los Angeles."

    GREAT SINGING, thanks!

  • She's singing from the heart.

  • whoosh!!! one of the most powerful voice !! the diva!!

  • I am a grown man sitting here crying, maybe i shouldn't tell that.....LOL ! This lady is simply awesome and this has got to be one of the best live performances ever. Singers today don't have this kind of power anymore. Awesome my sister Dionne,we love you much.

  • @DaStr8Truth She is a student of her craft, and has what's she's learned all here on display: the volume swells, the sotto voce passages, the spoken words, the phrasing, the tempo changes, the straight tones, the vibrato, the belted notes, the backing off with the microphone...all artfully and thoughtfully deployed to great effect. I'm no great fan of hers but I would guess she was probably at the apex of her powers with this one.

  • What a voice! Mesmerizing performance.

  • I've listened to Dionne for a very long time, but truly never heard her blow like that...it was awesome!

  • Just fantastic,thiis is a real performer!

  • Have mercy Jesus! I didn't know Dionne could blow like that! She wore that song out! Truly magnificent from start to finish.

  • can't breathe....OMG real singing is in her

  • I cannot believe how wonderful she is. Over the top professional. What happened to this incredible talent? Where is she???

    Susan in Seattle

  • @jsaprobinson ahm she is still going on in her music life concerting anypoint of world!! shes queen!! DIONNE WARWICK

  • Miley, Britney, and all the rest of disney's prefabfuturehasbeens this is how it's done. Learn to carry a melody. Use your voice, don't scream the whole song. Don't think any of your voices have this deptth anyway. Notice the audience actually wants to hear her sing, not scream hysterically over her. Class....

  • Sensational

  • Wow.. Speechless.. 8-O

  • crazy crazy crazy i'm tempted to say that this is almost better than the original by stevie wonder, well her interputation is different and it's live.

  • I think this has to be one of the very finest vocal perfomances I have ever heard. I've never heard Dionne sing this song before, amazing, strong, subtle, quite brilliant.

  • superb

  • GREAT!!!!!!

  • The pianist and orchestral composition is pure genious as well. What makes this piece so spectacular is the perfect blending of both where the orchestra is there in a complementary manner but not in the forefront

  • Comment removed

  • Breathtaking!! I am spellbound.

  • Yes, I can believe they overlooked the talented dionne in the Hall of Fame. No, why because she is the best at what she does best SING!!! Her interpretation and the way she can switch from one key change and style of song to another is unbelievable and the Hall of Fame is a pure piece of shit for not given this underrated legend her props!!! Thats ok Dionne has nothing to prove her voice speaks for herself and to the rest of us who know better!!! Listen to this woman sing with much conviction

  • Beautiful! But the words are wrong.

  • magnificent

  • passion . . .

  • A haunting delivery that takes you on a dramatic journey of love lost.

  • Stunning control in her delivery. What a voice.

  • Bravo, bravo, is all that I can say. I have been a fan of Dionne, over forthy years, and I am still a fan, standing ovation is right

  • wow! i love dionne warwicK!

    GOD BLESS :)

  • Amazing !!!!!!!

  • When you watch and listen to her sing LIVE, can you believe the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has NOT inducted her !!

  • she is legend !!!!!!!!!!

  • This one only ahs 120 views but there was another video in black and white with more than 1,000 views.

This is the best the greatest!

  • I feel very lucky that I found this.

  • An underrated legendthis performance is amazing.

  • Hot clip. She was a better singer than I'd realized. Great control and range while still maintaining that soft/lilting quality to her voice. Like that one a lot. Decent song too, eh?

  • This is way Carlos Santana called her the best teacher that any younger singer could have...'listen she never overdoses on soul, or her own voice'.

  • Class. Elegance. Powerful, effortless, perfectly trained vocals.

This is how it's done twenty-somethings...

  • Miss Dionne Warwick is one of the best interpretor of songs. Just brillant !! One could curl up in between the silence of the lyrics.

  • Listen to that voice! Look how far away she holds the microphone, and still her voice comes through clear and strong. No falsetto or screaming. Just pure power at full speed.

  • This is when modern technique, profound honesty and charisma come together to heal a wounded heart. Listening to it may, in fact, guide one to mend one's ways.

  • Wow at the height of her powers. The interpretation is out of this world. Beautiful, classy and totaly in control, does stevies song proud

  • I just want to curl up into a little ball at her feet as she sings this song. Her interpretation and vocals are amazing.

  • Wow! She's a true singing genius.

How can this video have only 120 views yet?

  • Gorgeous performance! Standing ovation here too!!

  • wonderful performance in the UK

  • What a joy it would have been to be in the audience for that song..Standing ovation for Dionne from this fan!
