Hard luck dan, the old plastic welding trick doesnt always work on all plastics..bike panels are about the best match...otherwise fiberglass is the way...its not a knack, just luck sometimes. Good progress with it mate, it'll be a nice car when its done..(i wonder what the dash and hard interior plastics would look like black..bit of PVC paint, 'Vinylcote' or 'Plasticote' we have here..cream/beige and black..would look kinda contrasty. unless its too hot there for black interiors).. @danbethel Kewl, great minds think alike...it would look way better than worn out gell coat....but like you say, if it was yours...(long live SAM...would have bought it if i hadn't been 8k miles away..lol)..
just sayin that if its got an electric lock on the rear doors a lil scotch brite action will keep it workin. open the door i believe its the passenger side door and clean the copper on the body and the little prongs on the actual door where they meet. bout once every few wks keeps it workin right... happy new yr
