  • thank you for this pattern,I'm gone try to ty it and use on my little French rivers

  • thanks for this very good tying! I'm gone try to do the same(as good as i can)

do you think it works well on French river in this size?

  • @pat34ful Yes, if there are grasshoppers around the river, this will work very well. Even without hoppers, it's a great attractor pattern...

  • nice fly!

  • i tied this fly.....it came out pretty good but not as good as this.

anyway i catch alot of bass on it in florida but will trout in east tennese eat this in july??

  • i bought a lot of sheets of foam form dollar store for $1.08

  • Geeat foam pattern! Thanks. Please keep them coming.

  • Great pattern, thanks for posting. I am going out west to fish Wyoming, Yellowstone and Montana at the end of September. Will this pattern work there?

  • Yeah, it's really killer. I caught a 21 inch cutt on it last week in Utah.

  • lol sweet

  • You can get it at craft stores like Miceals

  • lmao on the end!!!

  • any idea if you can get foam like this at a hardware store like home depot or lowe's? because i live in maine and get all my fly tying stuff at l.l. bean and some of the stuff can get a little pricey

  • WalMart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc. will have sheets of 2 or 3mm foam (about 10 x 20") for less than a dollar. Just about any color you can think of.

  • Than you so much for this info! I went to Michael's today and they had HUGE sheets of foam at only 79 cents a piece!

  • Any idea on if you can get foam like this at a hardware store like home depot or lowe's? because i live in maine and get all my fly tying stuff at l.l. bean and some of the stuff can get a little pricey

  • Nice video and quickie take on Bill's hopper. Also nice you give him credit. Good camera work.

  • nice fly, im looking into the dyna-king junior trekker,(i know thats a cuda) but do you have any idea what size hooks the trekker standard jaws hold good?

  • I'm pretty sure they're close to what the cuda would handle -- which is to say, I've tied from sizes #30 up to 1/0.

  • that's bigger than i use and smaller than i use so it looks like im gonna get a trekker, srry but last question lol, how easy is it to tighten the cam all the way?

  • The cam tightening mechanism is right at the head on a collar so it's right at your fingertips. No problemo!

  • good deal! thanks

  • uhh what was that yellow thing for?

  • Better visibility.

  • ok ty

  • Nicely done video. Informative and entertaining.
