Damn I didnt think this video that I made when I was half drunk would have gotten this much attention from yall lol I wish I still had my digital camera with video but the POS broke on me now i aint got nothing lol ill try to get one and make a better quality video
Which part are you talking about because i cut that off half way through and plus you have to remember there was alot of ppl around him and thats why he wasnt going so fast plus another thing those are 5 ton rockwell military axles under there so he has alot more heavy duty euipment than you do so he can go through deeper mud holes than you could why dont you try taking yours through that pond youll break alot more shit
@BTD2005........runnin 2 1/2ton axles an 44" TSL BOGGERS an a 454 built to a 468 runnin around 650hp would go through wat that 5 ton blazer would......that blazer isn't sittin that high wats he runnin 48's ??
it had a 383stroker in it with a turbo 400 transmission NP205 transfer case with big rockwell axles tires were atleast 50" not sure by the snappy throttle responses it sounds like it has a big cam in it i never had a chance to look at the engine but when i talked to the guy he was telling me some things about it why are you trying to build a K5?
@BTD2005 i have a k5 and i just put it on 6in suspension and 3inch body and plan on gettin 39.5x18 boggers and i have a 14bolt im cleaning up now and trying to find a D60 for up front, but ive been debating about building a 383 and ive seen a couple of vids with blazers with them and i love the sound, and i already have a 350hp 350 ci crate engine in it so
damn that sounds sweet is this gonna be your mud truck or your daily driver? and i wouldnt go with a 14 bolt rear end though if it was me i would go with a 12 bolt rear end with GM 4:10 gears unless you plan on doing some serious muddin with it you know what i mean
thanks, i already got the 14bolt and i want to build it so i dont have to worry about anything breaking lol, its not goig ot be an all out mud truck but i also have a DD besides it, pretty much keeping it street legal as much as i can so i can still drive it to trails and stuff and if i want on the weekend but yet mainly only use for offroad
yeah thats the best you can do, and 14 bolts are good rear ends i just prefer my 10 or 12 bolt over anything well hell even the rockwell 2.5 ton or 5.0 ton ones lol
ive already blown my 10bolt up twice once on pavement just driving with the shift kit, other time broke axle and spider gears by going threw some minor mud and getting on it a little, bald ass 35 mud terrains
damn that sucks most have been a bad apple out of the bunch or they are prone to problems i havent found out with them yet i have yet to fully put any 10 or 12 bolts to full test that sucks though this is why any mud truck i build is getting the indestructable rockwell military axles lol
@BTD2005 ah lol, yeah if i was going full mud truck i would think about that but im tryin to keep it semi street legal cause i have to drive it were ever i go lol
We'll see what is out there. Maybe a crate 350, or small block 400. I saw an absolutely sick 5.7 built the heck up at my cousins shop. I'll also have to consult with my other cousin, he races Suburbans of all things... He has 1 he's already built and working on 2 and 3.
Right now, I'll just be happy to put a new master cyl in and get back on the road, w my 305, lol.
400 with 202 heads 40 over a big cam and a turbo 400 the strongest transmission ever thats what i would go with 400's are the best blocks to build and the rarest seen around anymore id go with a 350 too but then theres also big block power lol 572 baby lol
Yeah I wish it was mine though, im working on trying to get an s10 blazer togther on rockwells with a chevy 572 in it yeah that guy and a ram charger and a jeep wrangler kicked ass all through that mudhole all day
Damn I didnt think this video that I made when I was half drunk would have gotten this much attention from yall lol I wish I still had my digital camera with video but the POS broke on me now i aint got nothing lol ill try to get one and make a better quality video
