@ryanthemayer While there are some people who genuinely don't respond to this kind of music AT ALL, most of them actually respond to its effects, though you sometimes need time to be able to do it. It took me a while to be able to relax with this kind of music, but now it's very effective on me.

Try listening to it a few more times, only trying to focus on something about it, like patterns, instruments or timing. That allows you to clear your mind a bit, which helps the music's effects.

Very good song. The most relaxing album is "Apollo (Atmospheres & Soundtracks)" by Brian Eno. The second one is "76:14" by Global Communication. I highly recommend you to listen to these incredible instrumental albums. In a way, this creation is the anti-song, lacking not only lyrics, but almost anything repetitive. Often, such things might even be regarded as pleasant ambient noise, like rain falling.

Those performances you quoted are instrumental pieces. Mozart wrote symphonies, not songs. Bach wrote minuets. They were called dances, not songs.
