this question miht sound dumb but... what cost would this take? does it take gas? oil? is the re a special chemical in order to cut? or does the tip finish really fast and need replacements once in a while? sorry for so much question

@leron423 the tips do get used up but not that often once you learn to use it properly. The tips are cheap anyway and if your good last a very very long time. If you suck you will blow through them. All you need for this machine is a plug and air compressor. That's it

@watcher9412 It's strong enough to weld 1/2" if you know how. I use 120-130 amps for the 7018's

You are using two different plasma torches. Which one actually comes with the 205i? The one with the exposed cup or the one with cup not visible?

NIce machine - Is the compressor built in for the plasma cutter or is it a stand alone compressor?

@bjensen5 : you need a stand alone. The volume of air consumed is pretty high, so there's no way of stuffing a pump and tank into one.
