@KikeTheMusician Actually, that is capacitive sensing. When the upper conductor is pressed toward the lower one, the capacitance of the circuit changes. This is not the only way to use capacitance in touch sensing though.
@cyprox that's right, the less is the distance between the plates the more is the capacitance and the more is the plates area the more is the capacitance.
