I really want to try this on my dales, but she live's out 24/7. will it still work? or will the braid come out? and does it have to be in for 6weeks or can it be in for like 2weeks and then redone ??xx
O My gosh!! i tried this and my quoter horse had a 2 foot mane!!! and they say that bays can't grow long manes! thank you thank you thank you thank you so much!!!!!
@animalejover im so glad to hear that!! i really wanna try this with my bay aqha mare but i wasnt sure if it would work! hahah do u hav a before/after pic, by any chance??
I have an Arabian that had a beautiful THICK and LONG mane then one day i put her out in the pasture with some other horses and when i came to get her she had skimpy short hairs for a mane... I NEED HELP!!!!! i cant braid her hair because there is nothing to braid and i am going to be showing her next summer! SOS well accutualy SHM (save her mane)
I have an American Saddlebred and a Clyde/morgan cross, I am trying to get their manes to grow longer, right now specially the saddlebred doesn't have a lot of hair at all. Do you think to get them to grow I need to breid them? or because of the breeds there is not much hope. The clyde cross has lots of hair but she itches her mane and has shorten it quite a bit this summer. Any tips would be great.
This video is very helpful! I have an Andalusian whose mane is only to the end of his neck. I hav e been trying to grow it out. I will do this tonight! Thanks again.
I am trying to grow my horses mane and have been trimming the fuzzy bits at the end and brushing it. Its long, but not long enough. No longer will I trim or brush, just plait! I used to be worried plaits would pull, but this new technique solves this worry.
