Mmmm i disagree. Sometimes when i have music on while im singing along to a higher pitched song i sound pretty decent(in my head), but when i turn it off...i sound like shit. I think the music interferes with her singing. Making it sound a little less shitty than what it really is. And if you distinctively seperate the two you'll realize shes not completely singing. She's almost talking in a melody.

well i can tell you have a lovely voice,

but theres no vibrato, and it's a bit nasally.

plus, you are straining your voice at the high parts.

maybe do a few warm-ups before singing a song like this so it's more comfortable to sing on those notes.

taking lessons would do your voice wonders, seriously.

I think that the biggest problem IS your nasality, but nasality can be fixed. I think that with a few voice lessons you will have a brilliant voice. :D
