we call the kids who wear these jackets drones, because that is what they are. no individuality, its so stupid seeing 4 guys wearing the same jacket walk into a bar we all laugh at them for being the sheep they are.

I have been using a North Face Bigshot backpack for some time and the quality is quite solid. It is designed quite well too. But yeah it did set me back by $120

Tried a white one on in a shop, definately more of a fashion jacket than serious expedition gear lol! But very warm and will be a good jacket for very cold cities (Montreal, Moscow, Harbin, etc...) for walking around, doing the shopping or commuting to work, but too heavy and not warm enough for serious polar or high mountain outdoor activities that only a few people are lucky to do. Would also get black or another colour, not white!!

The white was stupid as this is a McMurdo Station, Antarctica jacket. The jackets at McMurdo are bright red with reflective patches on the back so you don't lose each other. White is certain death.

they have them in white in the north face shop in manchester i saw them the other week. they look good but i bet they are a bitch to keep clean, i wouldnt dare wear it!!!

Kinda funny. When ou are in McMurdo the last thing you want to wear is white. The NSF issue jackets are RED with large reflective squares on the back so you don't get run over in white-out conditions and should you be waylaid and need assistance you are easier, not harder to locate...

Oooh man, that is one damn FINE lookin parka jacket! Nice long 3/4 length fit,elegant sheeny outer shell,smooth silky inner lining,fully down insulated, plenty of studs and pocket details,high collar and big insulated hood.. just awesome! I would love to own and wear one these beauties.
