@Kostas1601 They didn't make up their own terminology, it's the official terminology used by the WCA.

NR is national record, CR is continental record, WR is world record.

NAR is North American record, ER is European record, AsR is Asian record, AfR is African record, OcR is Oceanic record, SAR is South American record.

1) there are already lots of South American cubers,

2) the SARs are pretty fast,

3) you need to represent a South American country which involves having citizenship in one of those countries
