  • @cultleader78 Agreed.

  • @cultleader78 I certainly never said you should feel sorry for doing well. I simply think that returning to a Reagan-era tax structure, which allowed for a safety net for the most vulnerable among us, is not too much to ask. And I don't teach school children -- although those who do so deserve more than just about anyone else (including NBA stars, me, and you) -- I teach the undergrads and grad students who will grab the future from the plutocrats.

  • @cultleader78 My bad. What part of dominating and robbing do you most enjoy?

  • @cultleader78 No, I went to the public library and used the computer your tax dollars paid for ;-) Corporate crooks have brought this country to the brink of disaster and continue to poison the air and water our children (and ourselves) need to survive. I just thought I wouldn't take it lying on the couch watching tv like most people. By the way, I am a teacher with 2 children. I know exactly what I'm against and what I'm for. Btw, what part of being dominated and robbed do you most enjoy?

  • Well, is this part of the hope and change that Obama talked about? The only thing this Pres is successful in doing is piting one group of Americans against another. Welcome to the whining generation. Opps, goto go back to work to pay for all you govt dependants.

  • @cultleader78 I can't seem to locate the video, if you could provide me with a direct link I would be more than happy to check it out. Judging by the title, I assume it takes place in Chicago? If that is the case, I don't know what the police are allowing there. I only know that in New York, the police are definitely not allowing the protestors to use any sort of amplifying equipment.

  • one world- one currency -nobody seems to think its happening fast enuff

  • @cultleader78 Yeah, I'm not trying to change your mind in the slightest, because I know how stubborn people can be when it comes to their opinions and beliefs. I'm the most stubborn bitch sometimes. I'm just trying to get you to understand that, for me at least, this doesn't come from a spoiled brat point of view. I work for everything I have, which isn't much, and I don't believe in handouts in the slightest. I'll do my best to stay healthy, thanks lol.

  • i expect to hear from these useful idiots death to the jews, because that is what they are screaming in egypt and libya

  • this is beginning to sound like the old films of the nazi party rallies mindlessly repeating the paty line

  • @100crawma Again, the only reason why there is chanting and repetition is because they are not allowed to use microphones. This form of repetition is so people, no matter how far in the back they may be, can hear what is being said. Believe what you will about this whole event, but don't insinuate things simply because they are repeating what is being said. It just makes you seem ignorant.

  • @cultleader78 but comrade obama and nato fell all overthemselves running to aide the muslims of libya, just like clinton did in bosnia, as long as you are killing christians and jews then it is a-ok with these idiots and the man -child in the white house

  • @cultleader78 it is sickening, then when the muslims start killing the coptics by the thousands they will play dumb just like when the christians of southern sudan suffered a 10 year genocide at the hands of the muslim north of sudan

  • does not support you or these bloodthisty muslims

  • @100crawma Okay, cool.

  • @100crawma You sleepin brah

  • this guys muslim pals in egypt last night killed 20 coptic christians in cold blood-- now the movement are aligning themselves with people who would kill millions of innocent coptic christians who were in egypt long before violent islam ever came to egypt, you idiots are inviting a serpent among you, america does not suppost these genocidial maniacs from egypt even if you idiots do

  • @cultleader78 So what, because something has been a certain way for a long time, that means we have to sit back and take it? Maybe you enjoy living your life passively, but when I think I am being wronged, I like to make it known. Maybe this won't change things, but maybe it will. I'm not delusional enough to believe this will completely overhaul our system, but even if the slightest positive change comes out of this, I will be happy. We should constantly strive to better things for ourselves.

  • @RissasRants The problem is, you have people amongst your ranks that are delusional or are uncertain as to what it is they exactly want other than "CORPORATIONS MUST GO DOWN!" Even if this movement succeeds in some fashion, you have so many people who want things one way or the other that once you get past the initial message of "we're all standing together as the 99%," you have convoluted and unfocused goals. Look at Egypt as it stands now, for instance.

  • @SolidThugKnuckles There are delusional extremists in every party. This is no different than day to day politics. For every wackjob liberal calling for the downfall of capitalism, there are just as many conservatives wishing for the extreme opposite and saying equally stupid things.

  • @RissasRants Which is ultimately why I think the two party system will be the ruination of this country (if it isn't already, IMO):

"It serves to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration....agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one....against another....it opens the door to foreign influence and corruption...thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another."

  • This protestor who is speaking needs to go back to Egypt and protest against the killing of 25 non-violent Christians who had gathered to protest the abuses by Muslims against Christians in Egypt.

  • @suze2u he does not care, because he hates christians and jews as much as the rest of his pals back in egypt,a slow genocide against the coptic christians of egypt is building while the world and comrade obama stands by silenty, they could not intervene fast enough in libya, but when christians in southern sudan and egypt are being slaightered the silence is deafening

  • @cultleader78 And I do know what I am protesting. I am protesting the corporate influence in the government. I'm protesting loopholes that allow the richest parts of our population to pay ridiculously low taxes (or, in some cases, no taxes at all). I'm protesting corporations paying lobbyists to make sure their agendas are being catered to and protected in our government. There are obvious flaws in our system that need to be fixed.

  • @cultleader78 I'm happy that you are happy. Go on living your life if you are pleased with it and just ignore this then. Do not, however, call us things that are not true. We are not a cult. The chanting you hear is because they won't allow the protestors to have microphones. They are using the "people's mic" technique in order to allow all present to hear what's being said. Call this pretend all you want, but the movement is growing with or without you, whether you like it or not.

  • @cultleader78 Yes, that's because history keeps evolving. Did tyranny or corporate control over government (The East India Company's grasp over the British government) end with the founding of the USA or the Boston Tea Party? Of course not! Your point is terribly shortsighted. Join us! You are the 99%, too, I imagine.

  • /watch?v=CCupz9VDbPQ American's are too soft compared to the Egyptian protesters.

  • if this egytian is not a legal United States citizen then he should be arrested and deported. non citizens have no right to rally people to bring down our government.

  • This is a small "r" revolution and it's great and will keep gaining strength. It's true we are the 99% however the 1% have a lot of enablers and supporters which keep them in control. You can see some of those clowns on here commenting. That's one of the reasons these motherfuckers have gotten away with so much also.

  • Sounds like a bunch of mindless zombies reciting their chants. So much for our institutions of higher learning. And how pathetic, taking cues from some Egyptian activist who is here in the country to get a college education. A bunch of sheep looking for a sheep herder to lead them to the promised land so that they dont have to work to hard in life.

  • @joskemom Dumbass, we aren't allowed to use microphones or bull horns. The "chanting" you hear is called a human microphone. We were amplifying what the speaker was saying so that everyone, no matter how far away from the speaker they were, could hear his words. And what is this about people not wanting to work hard? Most of the people in this protest ARE employed. They have hard labor, they work 10 hour jobs wiping the ass of the rich white aristocrats who sit around doing nothing for a living.

  • @mgrey24 Oh I see it now, chanting 'from the arab spring' every few seconds is because you dont have a bull horn, let me take this moment to drip some tears. Most of the people are employed you say--what , they work the nite shift, please. It is just a typical dope smoking, down with the system, collective bunch of crybabies who think they found a forum to bitch, complain, and whine. Oh by the way I guess Ezzeldn knows that they are still protesting in Egypt-not much has changed there.

  • @joskemom Well, it was a Saturday....and I'm a fully employed father of two who works 60-80 hours/week...I don't smoke "dope," as you call it. And Egypt has undergone a huge change -- not finished, not perfect. It tickles me to see that we have such power over you that you are brimming with hatred. Except I imagine that you, too, are one of us. Join us and give up your hatred for love of country and love of informed action.

  • @complitdave Must be rough working 60-80hrs a week and still show up on a Saturday with mindless wonders. Not sure how you can detect 'brimmng with hatred' from a casual post but then again you think I am one of you---no, I dont spend my precious time complaining and whining in a park on weekends. But hey, feel free to express your self from war protest of the 60s and now to the G20 riots when they come to town-as far as hatred, I dont destroy property to get my way.

  • @joskemom Ha, still a puppet of the media. "It is just a typical dope smoking, down with the system, collective bunch of crybabies" that's what you don't understand, we have an extremely diverse group of people.Old and young, rich and poor, students and drop outs, obama supporters and paul supporters, they're all here. This is not about whining. I have a really good life and I'm privileged. The problem is that there are people who aren't as lucky as I am, and I fight for them. They have no voice.

  • @mgrey24 You are so full of yourself--you fight for 'them' those with no voice, please. It is diverse alright, from the socialist to the communist to the anarchist to the dope smoking to the useful idiots to the 'why we here' to the transients to the drop outs to the takers and to those who want govt to fill in the void of their inabilities. When was the last time you showered?

  • @joskemom I'm glad you explained your argument of why I'm full of myself. Who's the dropout again? All the examples you presented are mindless collective thoughts created by the media. You have no ability to prove what you are saying and your coming out as an ignorant person that talks out of their ass. There are many (including myself) that don't believe in socialism, or communism .FYI I showered this morning, the same as every morning in my dorm room. Your argument is weak, go watch Fox News.

  • @mgrey24 It is not an argument about why you are full of yourself--you know, where you say you fight for those with no voice. And my description of the people who are there, damn, I forgot to mention those who want to have a revolution. It is comic relief to hear some of those people try to explain why they are there, anyway, there was no need to really tell me that you shower everyday-in your dorm room. Oh, and in America, everyone has a voice-but it is nice to feel self-important.

  • keep discounting them all you want but you will see change in the US because of these people. Just because YOU cannot understand them does not mean that change is coming.

  • @princetonbc Just like it came with Obama, right? =P

  • @princetonbc i understand them...they want socialism. ..the rest of us dont. maybe we do need a second civil war or something....then we can put an end to socialism/communism once and for all in our country.

  • @usaf317 Let's see what happens when 1% goes up against 99%. And do you know that you are a socialist? Most likely you depend on roads and schools and firefighters and police. Those are all socialist to the core. Join us! Don't be scared of us! You are the 99%!

  • @complitdave well, ther is a silent majority that is not part of your so called 99%. of course we all contribute to certian things, police, fire, emergency medical, military and infrastructure. these things are needed...but healthcare, college and earning a living are the responsibility of the individual citizen. i have no desire to pay for your education or medical bills. you have no right to my income or my property.

  • @usaf317 exactly ,i could not have said it better--- to hell with the parasite class- the real 99% owe you nothing bloodsuckers

  • A bunch of idiots going to school on the money made by their mommies and daddies from a capitlist system. My question is why don't they go try another system elsewhere, such as Cuba, Venezuela, today's Egypt where this speaker is from or perhaps China - why not? I love the United States of America and I can't stand people like these left wing radicals. Also, the irony of Michael Moore cheering them on, talk about biting the hand that feeds you. They are walking on my fighting side. Go NYPD!

  • @mangeloj It's a shame that some people have become so spoiled over the years, IMO. The answer to their "problems" isn't in these protests with no clear goal or point; the solution ultimately lies within themselves. Even with the economic downturn, there are still plenty of opportunities for them to find jobs, to innovate, to prosper, etc. All it takes is the willpower to do so, not relying on the government or sitting there twiddling their thumbs in hopes that something will come their way.

  • @mangeloj @SolidThugKnuckles Not everyone present was left wing spoiled radicals. If you can't see that something is wrong with out current system, despite your political affiliation, then I truly feel sorry for your ignorance. I'm in no way saying that capitalism is wrong, but the corporate influence in our government is definitely wrong. They can pay lobbyists to make sure their agendas are taken care of, but who speaks for the middle class? That's what this is mostly about.

  • Comment removed

  • @RissasRants -- these so called protestors sure do not esp. when they have guys like muhammad here ,while his muslim pals in egypt killed 20 inoccent christians last night in cairo while he is preaching about peace, there is a slow genocide going on against the coptic christians of egypt, so you protestors and muhammad here most deft. do not speak for the real 99%,who will be speaking next kim jong ill, or maybe that prince of freedom robert mughabe

  • Are you in the 1%? Are you among those who control 40% of the wealth? If not, join us! Uncontrolled capitalism is not the only way of life that has ever existed or made people happy, and it is certainly not good for the earth that our children will inherit. You are the 99%, and so are the NYPD. Why are you so afraid to even imagine a different world, where you can speak not from your fear, not in the reactionary, uninformed way you do, but from your desire, from what you REALLY want?
